BAR decks need to change their name, because the Amphy will soon be replaced by Aqua's Manectric. These guys are only stage ones, freeing up a space or maybe two in BAR decks for some more drawing power. Expedition Amphy can't compare to this guy. Read his power:

    Power Shift:

Once during your turn (before you attack), you may move any number of basic energy cards attached to one of your pokemon with Team Aqua in its name to another of your pokemon. THis power can't be used if Team Aqua's Manetric is affected by a special condition.

Besides the fact that Amphy has more HP and a better overall attack, TAM is an overall better card, and besides, when Amphy rotates out, TAM will be used in most Blaziken/Rayquaza decks. If I were to build a BAMR deck (that's what I'm calling it until someone gives me a better name), it'd look something like this:

    Pokemon: 24
    4 Dragons Torchic
    1 Flare Combusken
    4 Firestarter BLaziken
    2 Team Aqua's Electrike
    2 Team Aqua's Manetric
    2 Take Down Skitty
    2 Energy Draw Delcatty
    4 Dunsparce
    3 Rayquaza EX

    Energy: 16
    12 Fire
    4 Multi

    Trainers: 20
    4 TV Reporter
    3 POR
    4 Oracle
    2 PETM
    3 Switch
    1 Fisherman
    3 Rare Candy

That's what I would do. Look! The deck has room for twenty trainers! Yay!
Anyway, TAM lets you free up a few spaces and will definetely replace Amphy when EXon becomes the modified format. TAM will make BAR decks virtually unstoppable in the hands of a good player. I mean that seriously. Unless we get some kind of awesome helper for Gardy or Aggron/Wailord decks, BAMR decks will become the most popularly played. Here's my idea of one with the knowledge of all non-released cards in America that I know of.

    EXON FORMAT BARM DECK:

Pokemon 23: (In case you didn't notice, this is the same)
    4 Dragons Torchic
    1 Flare Combusken
    4 Firestarter BLaziken
    2 Team Aqua's Electrike
    2 Team Aqua's Manetric
    2 Take Down Skitty
    2 Energy Draw Delcatty
    3 Dunsparce
    3 Rayquaza EX

    Energy: 18
    14 Fire
    4 Multi

    Trainers: 19
    4 TV Reporter
    3 Lanette's Net Search
    3 Wally's Training
    4 Rare Candy
    3 Rare Candy
    2 Switch

That's basically what I see happening. Gardy shouldn't be a problem for this deck, Aggron/Wailord will be missing Furret and may resort to *shudder*Linoone*shudder* (goodness I hope not) so many will abandon this deck. Amphy EX will be missing Expedition Amphy. New rogue decks will spring up, but this deck will probably trample them. The problem I see mostly with this deck is Kindra EX teched out to the MAX! I figure if we get something else like Ditto or Shard, this deck may see some problems, but TAM's attack is fairly decent, and compliments Blaziken's other benched damaging attack quite nicely. That damage adds up after a while.

If we don't see some good anti-BARM tech soon, this deck will become the next Sneasel/Slowking (this may be an exaggeration, so don't kill me) deck, meaning: You either play it, or you play something that directly counters it, which may be nothing if Shard or Ditto ain't remade!

Fixes? Questions? Resulting stupidity in relation to this post? Call 1-800-FIXES-QUESTIONS-RESULTS OF STUPDITY FROM THIS POST? right now to get a response. This number is toll free and absolutely fake so please don't call it. You may dial some Japenese pizza place and get sued for 100,000 dollars because your startling phone call caused him to drop his coffee on his lap and burn his left leg off.

I have to agree that this doesn't look good for deck variety and it can become even worse if they release Blaziken EX with the attack that the translations indicate. Blaziken EX is at least also weak to psychic, but we don't want a situation of just Blaziken and Gardevoir decks either.

I don't even agree that Manectric's attack is inferior to Ampharos', only the HP is worse.

I personally hope that the cards they used for the poster was an early version and that Manectric will be released with the wording that Nick15 has in his translation. That means you can move energy only to TA Pokemon.

I don't want them to redo Ditto and Crystal Shard. Ditto may be OK, but Shard is not!

I know that the two cards help a lot against Rayquaza, but Crystal Shard they also prevent a deck like Salamence (Maybe BAR's worst enemy) from being played and makes it too unreliable to fight Gardevior with resistance (because the Gardevoir deck will play Cystal Shard so Wobbuffet can one-hit KO Rayquaza).

Amphy EX will lose expedition amphy but will still have TAM. Not that I care about expedition amphy, don't even use it in my deck.

Um...in case you didn't know, then you need to set up a whole other evolution line...which sucks, especially in Ampharos EX decks.

Well, I said this for two reasons:

    1) Amphy's can KO Wailord in one shot (if you aren't using multis)
    2) Manectric's does damage to benched pokemon with energy on them. Most likely you'll be abusing Blaziken's power to its limits and not only attaching to your active Ray EX, but also powering up benched Ray EXs or maybe some Blaziken. This means that your benched pokemon will be hurt by this attack, and with no healing, that damage card add up, especially against decks with pokemon that know rend (Aggron EX, and less commonly seen, non-holo Crawdaunt)

This is why I'd prefer Amphy's in a BAR deck. I should've specified that I thought Manectric's attack wasn't as appropriate for a BAR DECK as Amphy's was. Sorry about this.

If you have a different view that's fine, too. Feel free to post it.

Hey, give some credit to the guy who created the idea! ;) My fix for the first one:
    Pokemon: 24
    4 Dragons Torchic
    1 Flare Combusken
    4 Firestarter BLaziken
    2 Team Aqua's Electrike
    2 Team Aqua's Manetric
    2 Take Down Skitty
    2 Energy Draw Delcatty
    4 Dunsparce
    3 Rayquaza EX

    Energy: 16
    12 Fire
    4 Lightning

    Trainers: 20
    4 TV Reporter
    4 POR
    4 Oracle
    1 PETM
    3 Switch
    3 Rare Candy
    1 TV

Wait wait wait! I know this one! Um....uh...wait! It's....I give up.

Just kidding Jermy. BAR was great while it lasted. Of course some will always prefer is over this, since Amphy is easier to get (it has a non-holo version that only costs about 1.50 to buy online), and better tested, but this deck will definately put up a fight against whatever deck gets in its path. I see this deck becoming very popular when EX, AQ, and SK rotate out, and not much stopping it. I hope Blastoise EX comes out before then *lightning flashes and I grow devil ears* *evil laugh*. Blastoise EX will hopefully be strong enough to beat it, but TAM will have a big effect on Blastoise. Of course TAM goes down in one shot with Stoise EX's attack, but 100 damage plus benched damage = pretty sweet attack for LCC.

I think this deck will without a doubt as of now become the strongest deck when EXon becomes the new new new modified format. Gardy will lose boost, Aggron/Wailord looses Furret, Amphy EX looses Expedition Amphy, and what does BAR lose? Just some trainers.

Personally I prefer BRAM because Aqua's Manectric is only a stage one which allows for more trainer options. Jermy, BAR will still be played. At least until the person playing it gets Aqua's Manectric! :D Seriously though, some people will always prefer Amphy because of it's one-hit-KO-Wailord potential and higher stamina, but I like the idea of Aqua's Manectric. As for Mudkip and Moltres423, there'll be some dispute as to who made it first, but I say me, since I posted first!

Actually, I don't care. I thought of this idea last week or so, and thought it would be cool to post about. I wanted to share the idea. Besides, it's not like no one else would've figured it out. Then they'd just say ,"I figured it out before any of you," and we'd be like, YAWWWN!

If Nurse was staying, Manectric would be a great addition to Amph decks. But we all know that won't be happening.

I agree that BAR players will most likely switch Amph EX with Manectric. But most will stick to Blazequaza and a few might go with Ninetails ex, I dunno.

I like Manectric over Amph myself, you can set it up faster considering it's a stage 1.

BAR doesn't need to change it's name.

    Blaziken
    Team Aqua's Manectric
    Rayquaza

I don't know of any pokemon named Aqua, ShadownCacnea. I know of a card called Aqua's Manectric, but not Aqua.

On the serious side of things, I think BRAM works. Blaze, Ray, Aqua's Manectric

I think many people would've thought of this long ago if the translation said the same thing. Aqua's Manectric would also ko Wailord if it just attacked. Don't forget that Amphy can move nrg from any benched pokemon but Manectric can only move it from Aqua pokemon.(itself)

I don't think that's a problem. Since you can just Firstarter/attach the energies to him and then move them around.

Did you get this text off of the English version of the card, or is this from a translation? If it's from a translation, I'm betting the English version will add the "to another one of your pokemon with team aqua in its name". If not, well, thank goodness for wobbuffett.

All this debate over a name, no one even noticed that the original EX-on deck has 7 Rare Candies....lol....

As far as using Linoone??? Wyaut??? I mean its a free search for 2 cards, and nothing stops it now, for the most part.

Note, red face paint Absol's will chew up decks like this for breakfast. Why Absol you ask? Well, with no Oracle to Combo with Delcatty, its up to Reporter and Catty to get cards needed by luck. The bigger the hand, the harder Absol hits.... With no real recovery cards, Delcatty may not be as good as you think in EX-on....
