Base Set Blastoise with no 'Stage' at the top

Hey everyone, this my first ever post on here and I was wondering if any of you guys who are more experienced with valuing cards or know about error cards would be able to help me.

So I recently got a Base Set Blastoise as I'm trying to complete the old WotC sets in NM/M condition and I noticed when putting it in my binder it had the stage missing at the top. Any idea what it is worth? I would say it is in NM condition, you can probably tell from the link below.

It's a known error, which in this case is good.

Looking on eBay, I see a few that have sold in the neighborhood of $40.
That seems a bit low in my opinion, but that is what the market says right now.
