Being Mean In-Game (Pokemon series)

What have you found to be odd or amusing when choosing off-beat choices in the Pokemon series of games? One of my personal favorites comes from the most recent Diamond and Pearl games, when refusing to take Rowan's Pokedex:

Rowan: ...

...

...

...

With "Hm! Good answer!" being your reply after giving in to the evil old man's request. >:O

I think the writers trying to seriously use words like "noob" is a prime example of the series jumping the shark.
