Yanmega Prime

Black Belt

Kingdra Prime

Let's say that I have a Kingdra Prime on my Bench and Yanmega Prime active. My opponent has a Yanmega active and a Yanmega with 10 damage counters on it on the bench. At this point in time, He has taken 5 Prizes and I have only taken 4. This means that I am behind on Prizes so I play my supporter for turn, I choose to use Black Belt. After using Black Belt, I then use Kingdra Primes Poke-Power, Spray Splash, to place 1 damage counter on my opponent's benched Yanmega. This would achieve the knockout on the benched Yanmega. I take a prize, we are now tied on prizes having both taken 5. I then even my hand to attack with Sonicboom from my Active Yanmega.
My question is, will the attack do 110 or only 70?

Q. If I have more prizes remaining than my opponent and I play Black Belt, but then I KO one or more of my opponent's Pokemon before I attack, would I still be able to use the effect of Black Belt if I'm no longer behind on prizes?
A. Yes, you can. The requirement of being behind on prizes is just for playing the card, and once it's in play you can use its effect even if you are no longer behind. (Jan 27, 2011 PUI Rules Team)
