We previously announced the original collection boxes back on September 9th, 2012. However, it was then subsequently cancelled, when we were notified by TPCi. However, it is back on the release schedule - albeit with a few changes - and is due for release this April.

Good gosh, more Emerging Powers. whoever decides what packs to put in these needs to be fired and live a lonely, miserable life.

At least the figures and promos are cool.

Better than DP1, amirite?

[DEL]I'm starting to get worried about promo #51 now. The PS prerelease is apparently #63, and these boxes and everything else coming up can be grouped with something so presumably all these will be numbered with their partners, leaving no space for one stray number over ten positions ago.[/DEL]

Looks like the prerelease IS #51 after all, time to stop moaning about it.

Lillipup is kind of shoehorned after it as well, especially being such an old card. Without any knowledge of how they plan things, I'd guess that #51 and #52 were supposed to be original releases of these boxes, and the Emerging Challenges Box was a last minute thrown together thing that had the promo just take any available slot. (Given by how no-one seemed to know about it until it was at retail that seems likely either way)

Or maybe box Keldeo was supposed to be #51 and mistakenly given #60 which at the time was ridiculously far ahead, either way Crobat probably was meant to be later, but he was (luckily) given the task of filling the hole.

Thats what I was thinking.

Looking at the promo inside. They look like the Black & White Kyurems from Boundaries Crossed. Somewhat disappointing, but at least the figures look sweet.
