Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

blissy deck lists/combos

the only problem i would find playing with this deck, even though i havent played it is. When all of your energies go straight to the discard pile along with blissey, you would have to start all over and start increasing the damage.

Which is why you only put about 5 nrg on Blissey #1.
After that you attach to Blissey #2, until #1 is Ko'd.
Now you've got enough energy in the Discard to power most of your Blisseys for a while, so start powering #3, ect.

Blissey goes well w/so many cards it's not funny: Delcatty, Electivire, Raichu MT, Exeggutor MT, and I have even seen it played all by its lonesome. In the near-future, Weavile SW might even make a pretty mean combo with it. It's that flexible.

However, for all its speed, I do think it's a little fragile. There's a lot of good :fighting: stuff out there that can hurt it if they get it out fast: Kingdra ex d, Mario, Rampardos, and the upcoming Gallade card. It's all dependent who who gets out first.

i still must disagree, a good kingdra list can successfully beat blissy 2 out of every 3 games

Disagree all you want robert, the tournament results speak for themselves. Nick's kingdra went down almost 75% of the time to my blissey. And John's blissey beat mine.

I agree with John though. The card is "Torterrible" nobody should play it, everyone should play Hurricane because Darthpika says it's the best deck and it doesnt matter what you play, it's gonna do 200 damage on the first turn.

John congrats on your win, our match was so close! I made some changes which you might wanna look into. I'll PM them to you.

So, now I know who won Winter Haven. No one posted in the BR section. Good job John. Dlynn was so scared of having to play you when she started 2-1. lol Killing me that I am having to miss these couple of weeks with work.

Looks like Blissey is dominating the format. I am ready for the next set though. Format is pretty frustrating right now.

Boost energy is Blissey's BFF

It gives her a nice boost in power.

Just don't attach DRE to her, it wont even do more than a standard basic energy.

Actually, DRE works just fine with Blissey because of that: if you want to play another evolved Pokemon with Bliss, then it works just fine.

We know of the various varients of Blissey. But here is the thousand dollar question. Which one is best?

Good question. I guess it depends on what you're expecting at the tournament, because each variation has strong points and weak ones.

Thanks to Penguin for the explanaition. My brother and i have rebuilt and play-tested blissey with electivire and i have to say, it's pretty frustrating and goes maybe 50-50 to Kingdra. For now, i concede that blissey is a respectable deck, and as we know, the new set could make it better. And i will say that it's much better than most of the other garbage decks that are being hyped, sadly i'm just too attached to my kingdra, so i guess i'll have to find a way to play it so as to deal with blissey. Congrats on your wins and good luck.

i don't understand how blissey/electrevire works, after electrivire does 120, he has no energy, and no way to get any more on hom, accept maybe attaching a dre then using 2 energy switch's or something.
