Bugs and Errors

Searching the forums seems to be somewhat bugged at the moment.

Pick a fairly common keyword like "single". You'll get plenty of results since the forum refresh. Plenty of results from 2004 and prior. But anything in between those two is spotty, if it returns anything at all from the period. And that's a pretty big period to leave out.

I'm thinking a search index table got corrupted during the refresh.

Ok, command line rebuild of the post index of 2.3M posts seems to have fixed it. Let me know what you find.

And WRT slow posting, I wonder if that has cleared up? The index rebuild took days and days. I could see things being slow in that time. LMK

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but it is something to look into. At one time you could click on the post number in a thread, and then a new window would open up with just the post you clicked on. I used to use the address of that particular post as a link in my sig, or to reference in another post. However now, when I click on a post number, the page I'm on (instead of a new page) reopens with that particular post at the very top of the page, and the rest of the thread is on the same page. Is that a settings thing on my computer, or did something change? I was hoping to add a link to my sig with the address of my video game trade post only - not the whole thread. Please let me know.

Mobile devices are posting twice in threads with "edit" with in the post, making it duplicate inside the post. If this makes sence, anyways.

The Primal Clash card gallery seems to require a password to access. Any reason for that?

When the gallery was created, the password was enabled for Staff use. It appears that it was not disabled when the gallery was set to live for the members.

Sorry about that issue, it should be corrected at this point.
