I HATE YOU TPCI!

Quit taking all of these gorgeous Japanese holos and making them non-holos for our set. It makes me totally irate. I'm glad that we have actually been getting good cards in our theme decks, but I don't want there at the expense of how they look. Unless they get rid of that ugly cracked glass and give us the normal "line" holo pattern like they did for the Reshi/Zekrom theme decks I will not be happy with this decision.

...

We get great cards. People are happy we get great cards. A person comes and complains about a minor detail on how they look.

Are you kidding me?

Non-holo cards are actually better for players as they don't bend retardedly.

I don't mind at all if Hydreigon and Garchomp will be non-holos, as long as the theme deck use the regular holo-effect. I mean, if I gonna pull lots of regular rares I would love it to be Hydreigon and Garchomp and not some really lame card that doesn't even deseve to be a rare :/

Sounds good, but I ask the competitive player base-Do we actually buy theme decks to begin with, regardless of what is in them?

Two of the best cards of the set in the theme decks? I'm surprised. I honestly expected Hydreigon and Garchomp theme decks, but I thought they would use the cards from the battle decks in Japan.

This makes me happy knowing I won't have to shell out a ton of cash for playsets of them, but I must say if the other Garchomp and Hydreigon get the holo treatment over these two I'd be annoyed.

Seems the projected BDIF won't be very expensive to build at all... this is very interesting, and unusual. And I like it.

You could essentially make 3 tier 1 decks with the price of only 1 and still have left overs with all these promotional items. It's amazing.

Hey, they can't satisfy everyone. In addition, just because theme deck cards were non-holo in the previous sets does not mean they have to continue that way.

Granted, they will probably be non-holo in set but you never know. This one might be different because why would they make those two of all things non-holo in the set?

Wait, wait, wait...

So they put the good versions of Garchomp and Hydriegon into theme deck form? If that Garchomp deck has an Altaria then my mind will officially be blown.

Also they could still be holo in the main set, and even if they aren't the other set will be.

Yes they are in the theme deck. BTW I am so glad that PKC is part of this community. Welcome PKC.

Now let me get what Pokemon TCG is doing. They are reprinting Darkrai EX in a tin and the superior Hydreigon in a starter deck. I guess they want us to build a Tier 1 deck with less than $100 to pay. They also did this with Zekeels. Is anyone else getting what I'm trying to say here?

So, um, can PKC throw us a bone on whether the 2 decks have 2 energy types each or 3 energy types?

If it is 2 energy type deck, it would be obviously Psychic Darkness for Hydrogon's deck, and Water Fighting for Garchop's deck.

If it is a 3 energy type deck, I think this is what's going to happen. In Japan, the Hydrogon half deck has Grass, Psychic, and Darkness energies. Garchop's half deck has Water, Lightning, and Fighting energies. For the theme decks, I think there is going to be a change up. Each of the blend energies are shown on either of the Japanese half decks right, so I think that the Dragons Exalted theme deck will have Fire in Hydrogon's deck, and Metal in Garchop's deck, thus making one deck Fire, Psychic, and Darkness, and the other deck Water, Fighting, and Metal.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure about the composition and the contents of the decks, but if I find out I will inform everyone on my pages in due course.

However, I can let those who don't know that the theme decks will be named DRAGONSPEED and DRAGONSNARL :)

Well a benefit is that pokemon always adds more cards than Japanese sets and stuff. So I am guessing it will range from 3-5.
