BW2 problem. Missing Roxie + Dad

My friends having trouble on White 2, the story won't advance though I'm sure she's done everything it needs. It's right near the start at Virbank city, she can't get on the ship. She's been to PokeStar studios and talked to Roxie's dad and he's gone back to talk to Roxie.
Now when my friend goes to Virbank, they aren't in the street, Roxie isn't in her gym and her dad isn't in the dock so she can't get the ship out of the place. Anybody know how to fix this?

Has she done the factory part to the south?

At the Pokestar Studio's- did you make a battle video in the studio?

Ah sorry guys, someone on 6P sorted this out. It was a Plasma grunt that runs away to route 20 she missed, that's why you shouldn't leave big gaps between playing RPGs Thanks though!
