Hey all. I know Pokemon is still big in CA, so I'm a bit confused...I'm moving to Mariposa CA as of my plane leaving in 4 hours, and searching through the league locators and all, I can't seem to find anything even remotely close to me for any tournaments or leagues. Merced and Fresno are right nearby....but seem to have nothing for pokemon?

I figured I would ask the CA folks, as I'm not one to miss out on this tournament season just because I can't find a place to play! I won Johnston RI's city championship, i'd like to try and make my way back to the top just like last year.

Any info would be greatly appreciated....and I could certainly use a couple friends out here, it's gonna be a whole new world! So if you're in the area, give me a shout. =)

    Catch ya around!

  2. Hey. Well, if you're 18 or older, why don't you set up your own league, and get Pokemon established in those areas. I have a cousin near there that might play. Haven't a clue though, since I haven't spoken to him in more than 3 or 4 years. Good luck.

I have a league in Cupertino, might be kind of far for league every week but maybe for the prereleases and premiere tournaments you could travel over here. I'm not sure how far it is from you. There's a link in my siggy.

You're sort of in 'no-man's land', sadly; I think the closest prereleases etc. would either be in Bakersfield or Modesto...

Ya you are sort of in the same boat i am. You are just going to have to either somehow form a league on your own, travel to find one or just go to premier events like i do. Bakersfield and Fresno aren't that far from you and you are even more centrally located in cali than me. You are in range of MANY events if you have a ride and $$ of course.

I voted for both because I really like both versions of it. California Love is one of my all time favorite songs.
