Lets face it Mewtwo Ex will be in most decks at battle roads. So we need a way to counter it and have a good strategy. So you're probably thinking you can just use another Mewtwo. NO! We need a low budget way to counter so I have came up with this deck.

I Now Present
RegiVile

Pokemon:
RegigigasEX(ND) x2
Sneasel(UN) x4
Weavile(UN) x2
Weavile(ND) x2
Nuzleaf(ND) x3
Shiftry(ND) x3
Riolu(ND) x2
Lucario(ND) x2
Terrakion(NV) x1

Energy:
Special :dark: x4
Prism x2
Basic :fighting: x4
Basic :dark: x4

T/S/S:
PONT x2
Pokemon Communication x2
Interviewers Questions x2
Great Ball x4
Pokemon Collector x2
PETM x2
Energy Retrieval x2
Plus Power x2
Cheren x3
Max Potion x2
Pokemon Catcher x2

RegiVile will be attacking the basic pokemon problem. And with the new poke tools Evolite will be a big problem. Thats why I have Weavile ND so i can do 90 damage on one energy, and maybe 100 or 110 with special dark energy.
I also have pokemon catcher so i can switch their pokemon and use Feint Attack from Weavile UN. Regigigas will be on the bench gaining energy so it can provide fire power.
Lucario will also be helping Weavile with attacking the opponents bench. And Terrakion will be spam Land Crush. Shiftry will Whirl-Wind and once again we attack the bench.
And all the dark pokemon in this deck have resitance to :psychic:. Maybe Mewtwo isn't that solid?:thumb:

I don't think this will work in tourneys, mainly because mewtwo is just a tech and they can simply not use it in the matchup and a fighting deck that is well built can kill almost everything on the list in 1 shot and ruins of alph teched into CMT would mess up the strategy.

I think water and grass techs would help you a lot against fighting decks. This deck would be really fun against CM OR CMT or Mewtwo Rush because regigigas can wreck a mewtwo if you play regigigas at the right time.

I know you don't want to add mewtwos and your purpose of the deck is to counter it, but I think you should add at least 1 mewtwo for tournaments.

If you're going to run Mewtwo at least run 2-3 Eviolite, it'd be silly not to. Also come next
set the Mewtwo abuse should die down once we get Darkrai EX.

1 Shaymin COL +1

Energy:
Dce x4
4 Dark Energy

T/S/S:

Junk arm x4 this card is amazing
Twins x2 your deck won't be set up t1 or t2 so you will need some support
1 super rod to get back cards.

I will make updates for the next set for you :D.

This deck loses to all things Mewtwo. All it takes is two turns of energy attachments (2 DCE's and a grass) for Mewtwo EX to ohko a fully loaded Regigigas. It hits the Lucario evolution line for weakness I think. It won't have much trouble ohko'ing the pre-evolutions of Shiftry either.

Your supporter/trainer engine is also completely non-existent, so in almost all games you will never get any kind of setup.
