POKEMON POWERS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

== BLISSFUL SUPPORT (Blissey EX - EX:Unseen Forces)

Q. Do I have to be able to discard Energy cards to heal my Pokémon using "Blissful Support"?
A. Yes. If you don't remove an Energy from a Pokémon, you don't get to heal that Pokémon. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. When using "Blissful Support", can I discard an Energy card from a Pokémon that doesn’t have any damage on it?
A. Yes, you can discard an Energy card from an undamaged Pokémon when using Blissful Support. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== ENERGY EVOLUTION (Eevee - Neo: Discovery; Eevee - EX:Unseen Forces)

Q. If I attach a Rainbow Energy to Eevee, what Energy type does it count as for "Energy Evolution"?
A. Whatever Energy type you would like - if you decide to use its Poké-Power after attaching a Rainbow Energy, you can look through your deck for any of

Eevee's evolution cards to put onto it. You don’t need to announce the Energy type before searching your deck. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. If I attach a Multi Energy to Eevee, what Energy type does it count as for "Energy Evolution"?
A. If there are no other Special Energy Cards already attached, then it behaves the same as when attaching a Rainbow Energy. Otherwise, it counts as

colorless and you cannot search through your deck. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. What happens if I attach an energy type to Eevee that it doesn't have an evolution for (i.e. Grass, Fighting, etc.)?
A. Since Eevee has no evolution of that particular energy type, you do not get to search through your deck. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== NURTURE AND HEAL (Meganium EX - EX:Unseen Forces)

Q. Does Meganium-EX's "Nurture and Heal" Poké-Power count against the 1 Energy card attachment per turn?
A. No. Nurture and Heal is its own effect, so you can still do your normal energy attachment too. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. Can I attach a Rainbow Energy card using "Nurture and Heal"?
A. No - it would need to be a Grass Energy card in your hand in order for it to be attached as part of Nurture and Heal's effect, and Rainbow does not count

as Grass while in your hand. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. Does Meganium-EX's "Nurture and Heal" Poké-Power stack? Like, if you had 2 could you attach 2 Grass Energies?
A. Yes, it's Poké-Power would stack. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== STAGES OF EVOLUTION (Electabuzz - EX:Unseen Forces; Hitmonchan - EX:Unseen Forces; Hitmonlee - EX:Unseen Forces; Hitmontop - EX:Unseen Forces; Jynx -

EX:Unseen Forces)

Q.**Several Basic Pokémon have a Poké-Body called "Stages of Evolution" that says, "As long as {name of Basic Pokémon} is an Evolved Pokémon...". What does

this mean?
A. Each of those Pokémon have a corresponding Basic Pokémon that "evolve" into those Pokémon. For example, Elekid has a special "Baby Evolution" Poké-POWER

that allows Elekid to evolve into Electabuzz, therefore allowing the evolved Electabuzz to use its "Stages of Evolution" Poké-BODY. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules

Team)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
POKEMON ATTACKS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

== CRY FOR HELP (Corsola - EX: Unseen Forces)

Q. When using Corsola's "Cry for Help", can I search for any 1 (Fighting Pokémon excluding Pokémon-ex) or 1 (Water Pokémon of any type)?
A. You can search for either a Water Pokémon or a Fighting Pokémon, when using this attack. No matter which one you choose, that Pokémon cannot be a

Pokémon-EX. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== FULL BLOOM (Bellossom - EX:Unseen Forces)

Q. When using "Full Bloom", does the attacking Bellossom count as one of the three mentioned in the attack text?
A. Yes. You would only need two other Bellossoms in play on your side for the extra damage. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== HEALING MILK (Miltank - EX: Unseen Forces)

Q. If I flip heads twice for "Healing Milk", can I remove 2 damage counters from two separate Pokémon, or just 4 damage counters from one of them?
A. You must remove all of the damage counters from the same Pokémon. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== KINDLE (Blaine's Charmander - Gym: Heroes; Typhlosion EX - EX:Unseen Forces)

Q. Say my Typhlosion-EX attacks using "Kindle", but my opponent's Defending Pokémon doesn't have any Energy cards attached to it. Do I still have to discard

an Energy attached to Typhlosion-EX?
A. Yes, you still have to discard an Energy card from Typhlosion-EX. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. When using "Kindle" who gets to choose which Energy card is discarded from the Defending Pokémon?
A. The attacking player chooses both Energy cards that get discarded. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== PUNCH AND RUN (Politoed EX - EX:Unseen Forces)

Q. Politoed-EX uses "Punch and Run" and Knocks Out a Pokémon with Curse Powder attached. Which Pokémon receives the 3 damage counters, the Politoed-EX or the

one that comes up to replace it?
A. Politoed-EX would receive the damage counters from Curse Powder since it was the "Attacking Pokemon" at the time. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== TWIN PLAY (Scyther - EX:Unseen Forces)

Q. Can I search for Rocket's Scyther-EX with the "Twin Play" attack?
A. No - you can only search for Pokemon cards named "Scyther" and/or "Scyther-EX". (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== CURSE POWDER (EX:Unseen Forces)

== ENERGY ROOT (EX:Unseen Forces)

Q. Does the +20 HP from Energy Root combine with extra HP from cards like Low Pressure System, or the specific HP set by EX-Deoxys' Solrock?
A. Yes. In both cases, the Pokémon would receive additional HP from Energy Root. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== EXP.ALL (Neo Destiny; EX:Hidden Legends)

Q. Player 1 has an active Dark Slowking with 50 damage and a Dark and a Psychic energy attached to it. He also had a benched Slowpoke with an EXP.ALL

attached. Player 2 attacks with ATM Rock. Would the attack with the ATM Rock that knocked out his now-devolved Slowpoke activate the EXP.ALL?
A. EXP.ALL does not trigger from a KO of your Active Pokemon if the KO is a result of devolving. The EXP.ALL should only activate when KO'd due to damage,

just like Jumpluff's "Buffer". (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== MARY'S REQUEST (EX:Unseen Forces)

Q. If I have a Mudkip that evolved into a Swampert using Rare Candy, does it count as a "Stage 2 Evolved Pokémon" for the purposes of Mary's Request?
A. Yes. Swampert has both qualities: Swampert is an "Evolved Pokémon", and Swampert has "Stage 2" printed on it. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)
