----------------------------------------------------------------------
POKEMON POWERS/ABILITIES
----------------------------------------------------------------------

== DAMAGE SWAP (Reuniclus - BW:Black & White)

Q. Can I use Reuniclus' "Damage Swap" ability to move all of my damage counters onto one Pokemon and then knock it out?
A. You can only move one damage counter at a time with Damage Swap (even though you can re-use the ability many times), so as soon as the number of damage counters on the Pokemon equals its HP, it would be KO'd immediately. In other words, you cannot move ten damage counters onto a Pokemon with only 50 HP and then knock it out. (Black & White FAQ; Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

== PORTRAIT (Smeargle - HS:Undaunted)

Q. If I use Smeargle's "Portrait" Poke-POWER and choose "Buck's Training" in the opponent's hand, would I get the added +10 attack bonus or not, since "Buck's Training" is not actually next to my Active Pokemon?
A. Yes, it will still work. The intent is that the effect works during the turn when the Supporter was played. So even though Buck's Training is in the opponent's hand, each of your Active Pokemon's attacks does 10 more damage to the Active Pokemon. (Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

== ROYAL HEAL (Serperior - BW:Black & White)

Q. Do I have to use Serperior's "Royal Heal" ability if I don't want to?
A. Royal Heal is not an optional ability. You must use this ability at some point in between turns. (Black & White FAQ; Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
POKEMON ATTACKS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

== BLINDSIDE (Mandibuzz - BW:Black & White)

Q. For Mandibuzz's "Blindside" attack, who chooses which of the opponent's Pokemon receives the damage?
A. The attacking player chooses which of the opponent's Pokemon receives damage from the attack, but remember the opponent's Pokemon must already have damage counters on it first. (Black & White FAQ; Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

== CIRCLE THROW (Throh - BW:Black & White)

Q. When Throh attacks with "Circle Throw", who chooses which of the opponent's Benched Pokemon get brought forward?
A. The attack says "Your opponent switches the Defending Pokemon..." so the opponent gets to choose. (Black & White FAQ; Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

== CONSTANT RATTLE (Maractus - BW:Black & White)

Q. Maractus' "Constant Rattle" attack says what to do if you flip 1, 2, or all heads, but what happens if you flip no heads?
A. If you flip no heads, the attack does nothing. (Black & White FAQ; Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

== DETOUR (Jirachi - PL:Rising Rivals)

Q. Say you played a Supporter this turn and recovered it to your hand with VS Seeker. Would you be able to use that Supporter for Jirachi's "Detour" attack or not?
A. Even though the Supporter is no longer in the Discard Pile, Detour can use its effect since it was played during the turn. (Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

== FOUL PLAY (Zoroark - BW:Black & White)

Q. Do I have to meet the energy requirements for the attack I choose with Zoroark's "Foul Play"?
A. No, you do not have to meet the energy requirements for the attack. However, if the attack says you must do something or the attack does nothing, that part still has to be done. (Black & White FAQ; Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

Q. If Zoroark uses "Foul Play" to copy Reshiram's "Blue Flare" attack, what happens if I don't have have any Fire Energy attached to Zoroark?
A. The damage amount is done regardless of whether Zororark has any Fire Energy attached to it or not, but if you have one or two Fire Energy attached to Zoroark you must discard them. (Black & White FAQ; Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

== PICKUP (Lillipup - BW:Black & White)

Q. Can I pick up old pre-Black & White style Trainers, Supporters, or Stadiums with Lillipup's "Pickup" attack?
A. You can get pre-Black & White "Trainer" cards, but not "Supporter" nor "Stadium" cards. (Black & White FAQ; Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

== TAUNT (Liepard - BW:Black & White)

Q. When Liepard attacks with "Taunt", who chooses which of the opponent's Benched Pokemon get brought forward?
A. The attack says "Switch the Defending Pokemon..." so the attacking player gets to choose. (Black & White FAQ; Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
TRAINER CARDS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

== BUCK'S TRAINING (DP:Legends Awakened)

Q. Under the new Black & White rules, Supporters go to the Discard Pile when played. So does that mean that the part on Buck's Training which says "As long as Buck's Training is next to your Active Pokemon..." won't work any more?
A. Yes, it will still work. The intent is that the effect works during the turn when the Supporter was played. So even though Buck's Training is in the Discard Pile, each of your Active Pokemon's attacks does 10 more damage to the Active Pokemon. (Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

== PROFESSOR JUNIPER (BW:Black & White)

Q. Can I play Professor Juniper if it is the only card in my hand, and then draw 7 cards?
A. Yes, you basically discard your remaining hand of zero cards, then you draw 7 cards from your deck. (Black & White FAQ; Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)

== VS SEEKER (EX:Fire Red / Leaf Green; PL:Supreme Victors)

Q. Under the new Black & White rules a Supporter goes to the Discard Pile after it has been played. Can I use VS Seeker to retrieve a Supporter that was played during this turn or do I have to wait until my next turn?
A. You can use VS Seeker whenever a Supporter card is in the Discard Pile, even if it was played during this turn. (Apr 28, 2011 PUI Rules Team)
