POKEMON POWERS
----------------------------------------------------------------------
== STICKY (Ariados - DP:Mysterious Treasures)
Q. If I have three Ariados with the "Sticky" Poke-BODY in play, what would the Active Ariados' Retreat Cost be?
A. It would have a retreat cost of one energy. No Ariados is affected by any of the other's Poke-Bodies. (Feb 28, 2008 PUI Rules Team)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
POKEMON ATTACKS
----------------------------------------------------------------------
== BRING DOWN (Gardevoir LV.X - DP:Secret Wonders)
Q. If my opponent uses "Bring Down" on the 'wrong' Pokemon, can they take it back or do they have to use "Bring Down" no matter what – even if it means Knocking Out their own Pokemon?
A. Your opponent must use the Bring Down attack once announced. If they called an invalid target, they must choose a valid one, even if that is one of their own Pokemon. (Feb 28, 2008 PUI Rules Team)
== POWER WHIP (Tangrowth - DP:Great Encounters)
Q. How does the Tangrowth errata affect "Power Whip" with Sceptile's "Wild Growth" in play?
A. Tangrowth does 10 damage for each Energy from basic Energy cards – 1 basic Grass Energy card provides 2 Energy, so it would do 20 total damage. (Feb 28, 2008 PUI Rules Team)
== SMASH SHORT (Pachirisu - DP:Great Encounters)
Q. When attacking with Pachirisu's "Smash Short" against a Pokemon with Unown G attached as a Pokemon Tool, would I still get to discard Unown G and look at my opponent's hand?
A. No. Pachirisu's Smash Short attack would do 40 damage, but Unown G prevents itself from being discarded. Because Unown G is not discarded, you do not get to look at the opponent's hand. (Feb 28, 2008 PUI Rules Team)
