== ENERGY REFRESH (Leafeon - PL:Rising Rivals)

Q. If I attach a Rainbow Energy to Leafeon with the "Energy Refresh" Poke-BODY, does it take the damage from Rainbow Energy before or after the Poke-BODY heals 2 damage counters?
A. Since both effects have the same trigger (attaching the Rainbow energy), you may choose the order in which to apply them. (Sep 3, 2009 PUI Rules Team)

== GREEN BREATH (Sceptile - PL:Arceus)

Q. If I have Sceptile with "Wild Growth" in play, do I get to remove 4 damage counters when I attach a Basic Grass Energy card to a Sceptile with the "Green Breath" Poke-BODY?
A. No, Green Breath only allows you to remove 2 damage counters when attaching a Grass Energy CARD, not per the number of energy that card provides. (Feb 4, 2010 PUI Rules Team)

== GUARD (Unown G - DP:Great Encounters)

Q. If Unown-G is attached as a tool to a Pokemon and the opponent uses Mismagius' "Crash Chant" attack, would Unown-G be discarded or not?
A. Well, it depends on which player's Unown-G is being discarded. If Mismagius tries to discard Unown-G attached to an opponent's Pokemon, GUARD would prevent it from being discarded and you don't get to add +20 damage for that tool to Crash Chant's damage either. However, since GUARD only protects against attacks done by your opponent [see Errata], you can discard an Unown-G attached to your own Pokemon and add +20 damage for that tool. (Nov 20, 2008 PUI Rules Team; Feb 4, 2010 PUI Rules Team)

***** PREVIOUS RULING: THIS ONE HAS BEEN CLARIFIED; See Above *****

== CRASH CHANT (Mismagius - DP:Stormfront)

Q. If Unown-G is attached as a tool to a Pokemon and the opponent uses Mismagius' "Crash Chant" attack, would Unown-G be discarded or not?

== PLAYGROUND (Pichu - GS:Heart Gold/Soul Silver)

Q. If my opponent uses Pichu's "Playground" attack on the first turn of the game, and I am going second, can I evolve the Pokemon I put onto my Bench with "Playground" since I did not put them in play on my turn?
A. It is a basic game rule that neither player can normally evolve any Pokemon on their first turn of the game, even if they are going second. (Feb 4, 2010 PUI Rules Team)

== TOP DROP (Primeape - PL:Supreme Victors)

Q. If Primeape's "Top Drop" attack reveals a LEGEND Pokemon card with no HP printed on it, how much damage does it do (if any)?
A. No damage is done regardless of which LEGEND half is revealed by Top Drop. (Feb 4, 2010 PUI Rules Team)

== POKEMON COMMUNICATOR (GS:Heart Gold/Soul Silver)

Q. If I use Pokemon Communicator to put a Pokemon into my deck, am I allowed to voluntarily fail and choose to take no Pokemon out of my deck?
A. The contents of your deck is not public knowledge so the deck search can fail, even if you've just put a pokemon into the deck. (Feb 4, 2010 PUI Rules Team)
