== WATERLOG (Blastoise - DP:Secret Wonders)

Q. If I use Blastoise's "Waterlog" Poke-POWER to attach a bunch of Basic Water Energy cards to a Water or Grass type Pokemon, how many damage counters do I get to remove if Dawn Stadium is in play?
A. You get to remove one damage counter per each energy card that you attach, since Dawn Stadium triggers "whenever" you attach an energy card from your hand. (May 29, 2008 PUI Rules Team; March 12, 2009 PUI Rules Team; March 26, 2009 PUI Rules Team)

Q. If I use Blastoise's "Waterlog" Poke-POWER to attach a bunch of Basic Water Energy cards, how many damage counters do I get to remove if Dawn Stadium is in play?
A. You only get to remove one damage counter per Pokemon that gets any Water energy attached to it. Waterlog consists of a single action and therefore only gets to remove one damage counter per Pokemon for the whole Poke-POWER. On the other hand, powers like Rain Dance or Energy Rain say "as often as you like during your turn", meaning that each energy attached that way is separate and would trigger Dawn Stadium multiple times if they were used more than once during the turn. (May 29, 2008 PUI Rules Team; March 12, 2009 PUI Rules Team)

POKEMON ATTACKS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

== SEED FLARE (Shaymin Lv.X - PL:platinum)

Q. Shaymin Lv.X's "Seed Flare" attack let's me attach Grass Energy from my hand to as many Pokemon as I as I like. If I have Dawn Stadium in play, and 3 heavily damaged Grass Pokemon, and I attach 2 Grass Energy cards to each one with Shaymin's attack, how much damage do I remove?
A. Dawn Stadium's effect is activated once for each time you attach an energy card to a Grass or Water Pokemon. In this case, you'll remove one damage counter for each energy card you attach to these Grass Pokemon. (Mar 12, 2009 PUI Rules Team; March 26, 2009 PUI Rules Team)

Q. Shaymin Lv.X's "Seed Flare" attack let's me attach Grass Energy from my hand to as many Pokemon as I as I like. If I have Dawn Stadium in play, and 6 damaged Grass Pokemon, and I attach a Grass Energy to each one with Shaymin's attack, how much damage do I remove?
A. Dawn Stadium's effect is activated once for each Pokemon you attach a Grass Energy to. Multiple attachments to the same Pokemon don't remove more than one damage counter from that Pokemon. (Mar 12, 2009 PUI Rules Team)

== WAKE-UP PUNCH (Vigoroth - DP:Mysterious Treasures)

Q. Vigoroth has the attack "Wake-Up Punch" which does 60 damage instead of 10 damage if Vigoroth evolved from an asleep Slakoth during this turn. If I use Broken Time-Space stadium to evolve from Slakoth to Vigoroth to Slaking all in one turn, then attach a Memory Berry to Slaking and use Vigoroth's "Wake-Up Punch", how much damage does it do?
A. Using Memory Berry substitutes "this Pokemon", i.e. Slaking, in the Wake-Up Punch attack, by the self-referencing rule. In that case, Slaking did not evolve from Slakoth this turn, but rather from Vigoroth. Therefore, the attack does only 10 damage. (Mar 26, 2009 PUI Rules Team)
