== BODYGUARD (Marowak - XY: Fates Collide) <XY10_37>

Q. When I try to attack, does Marowak's "Bodyguard" Ability prevent me from having to flip a coin if my active Pokémon was attacked last turn with Silicobra's "Sand Attack"?
A. The effect of Sand Attack is on your Pokémon that was attacked, not on you. So, Bodyguard does not prevent you from having to flip a coin to see if the attack goes through. (Oct 13, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== DEW GUARD (Milotic - SW: Evolving Skies) <SWSH7_38>

Q. If I have Milotic with "Dew Guard" Ability in play, what happens if my opponent plays Choy?
A. Dew Guard prevents you from revealing your hand, but your opponent still reveals their hand and draws 3 cards. (Sep 29, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

Q. If I have Milotic with "Dew Guard" Ability in play, what happens if my opponent plays Riley?
A. Your opponent reveals the top 5 cards of their deck but you would not choose 2 cards, and they get to put all 5 cards into their hand. (Sep 29, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

Q. If my opponent has Milotic with "Dew Guard" Ability is in play, what happens if I play Sordward & Shielbert from my hand?
A. Since the opponent cannot answer the question due to the effect of Dew Guard, Sordward & Shielbert fizzles and nothing happens. (Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== EMPEROR'S EYES (Empoleon V - SW: Battle Styles) <SWSH5_40>

Q. If my opponent has an Empoleon V with "Emperor's Eyes" Ability active, and I have both an Eevee with a Memory Capsule attached and an Eevee with the "Resonant Evolution" Ability in play, if I evolve the Eevee with a Memory Capsule into a Jolteon with "Thunderous Awakening" Ability can I use "Resonant Evolution" or not?
A. Yes, that will work because Emperor's Eyes has been disabled. (Oct 6, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== ENTRUSTED WISHES (Radiant Jirachi - SW: Silver Tempest) <SWSH12_120>

* When Radiant Jirachi is Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack, using its "Entrusted Wishes" Ability is mandatory. You must search your deck, and you must take at least 1 card if you are able to. (Silver Tempest FAQ; Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== ETERNAL ZONE (Eternatus VMAX - SW: Darkness Ablaze) <SWSH3_117>

Q. Can I use Thorton to put a non-Dark Basic Pokémon from my discard pile onto my bench if I have Eternatus VMAX with the "Eternal Zone" Ability in play?
A. No, you can't play Thorton at all if there aren't any Basic {D} Pokémon in your discard pile. (Sep 29, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== FIGHTING INSTINCT (Galarian Zapdos V - SW: Chilling Reign) <SWSH6_80>

Q. If I have Galarian Zapdos V with "Fighting Instinct" Ability active and an Earthen Seal Stone attached, and my opponent has 3 Pokémon V in play, can Galarian Zapdos V use Earth Sealing Stone's "Star Gravity" attack for free?
A. Yes, you can. (Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== FLOWER SELECTING (Comfey - SW: Lost Origin) <SWSH11_79>

Q. If I have Comfey in play and I use its "Flower Selecting" Ability, can I then use Thorton to switch it with a different Comfey and use "Flower Selecting" from the new Comfey?
A. No, that won't work. Even though the new Comfey is a different Pokémon than the first one, it remembers the Flower Selecting Ability was already used this turn so you cannot use it again on that Pokémon. (Sep 29, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

Q. Can I use Comfey's "Flower Selecting" Ability or Colress's Experiment if I have only 1 card left in my deck?
A. You can play either of them with only one card left in your deck; but you have to put the card into your hand, you cannot discard it or put it into the Lost Zone. (Oct 6, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== HEAT BOOST (Rapidash - SW: Silver Tempest) <SWSH12_22>

Q. If I have multiple Rapidash in play can I use each one of their "Heat Boost" Abilities once per turn, or do I only get to use a maximum of one "Heat Boost" per turn regardless of how many I have in play?
A. Each Rapidash can use its own Heat Boost during the turn, but only one time each. And when you use Heat Boost multiple times you have to discard a separate {R} Energy card for each one and your {R} Pokémon's attacks do +30 more damage per Ability used. (Silver Tempest FAQ; Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== LOST BLOCK (Barbaracle - SW: Lost Origin) <SWSH11_107>

Q. If Barbaracle with "Lost Block" Ability gets knocked out, do the opponent's Prize cards go into their hand or into the Lost Zone?
A. When Barbaracle is KO'd it goes to the discard pile; Lost Block is no longer in effect, so your opponent gets to take the Prize card. (Oct 6, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== MYSTERIOUS NEST (Dunsparce - SW: Fusion Strike) <SWSH8_207>

Q. If I use Unown VSTAR's "Star Cipher" attack while Dunsparce with "Mysterious Nest" Ability is in play, are my opponent's colorless Pokémon's Weakness set to {P} or do they have no Weakness at all?
A. The Star Cipher attack would switch your opponent's Pokémon's weakness to {P}, but then Dunsparce's Mysterious Nest would change all colorless Pokémon to no weakness. (Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== NEEDLE LINE (Chesnaught V - SW: Silver Tempest) <SWSH12_15>

Q. If I have multiple Chesnaught V with the "Needle Line" Ability in play, will each of them put 3 damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon, or does "Needle Line" only work for the Active Chesnaught V?
A. Each separate Needle Line Ability will stack to add 3 more damage counters to the Attacking Pokémon, but only when the Active Chesnaught V is damaged by an attack. (Silver Tempest FAQ; Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== RESONANT EVOLUTION (Eevee - SW: Astral Radiance) <SWSH10_119>

== SHELL SURVIVAL (Shedinja - SW: Vivid Voltage) <SWSH4_66>

Q. Can I use Thorton to put a Shedinja with "Shell Survival" Ability onto my bench?
A. No, you cannot. (Sep 29, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== SUMMONING STAR (Lugia VSTAR - SW: Silver Tempest) <SWSH12_139>

Q. Can I use Lugia VSTAR's "Summoning Star" Ability to put a Colorless Stage 2 Pokémon from my discard pile directly onto my bench?
A. Yes, Summoning Star can put any Stage of Colorless Pokémon onto the Bench from your discard pile as long as it doesn't have a Rule Box. (Silver Tempest FAQ; Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== THUNDEROUS AWAKENING (Jolteon - SW: Vivid Voltage) <SWSH4_47>

== TRANSISTOR (Regieleki VMAX - SW: Silver Tempest) <SWSH12_58>

Q. If I have multiple Regieleki VMAX with the "Transistor" Ability in play, will my Basic {L} Pokémon's attacks do +30 more damage for each one?
A. Yes, the Transistor Ability will stack. (Silver Tempest FAQ; Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== VERDANT WIND (Virizion V - SW: Astral Radiance) <SWSH10_164>

Q. If I have Virizion V with "Verdant Wind" Ability in play, can I play Spicy Seasoned Curry to heal 40 damage from one of my Pokémon with {G} Energy attached and not get Burned?
A. Yes that would work, even if there's no damage on the Pokémon with {G} Energy attached. It's a valid target to be Burned, but the Burn condition is blocked by Verdant Wind. (Oct 13, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== FLY (Flying Pikachu V - SW: Pokemon GO) <SWSH105_6>

Q. If I use Fantina and then my Flying Pikachu V with Big Parasol attached uses its "Fly" attack and successfully lands heads, would my opponent's Giratina V's "Shred" attack do any damage to Flying Pikachu V or not?
A. Shred isn't affected by "any effects on the Defending Pokémon"; so the effects from Fantina and Big Parasol and Fly would all be ignored, and Shred would do damage. (Sep 29, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== FOLLOW-UP (Cobalion - SW: Silver Tempest) <SWSH12_126>

Q. For Cobalion's "Follow-Up" attack, can I choose a Benched Pokémon, search for a basic Energy card and attach it, and then choose my second Benched Pokémon and search my deck for a basic Energy card to attach to it?
A. No, you need to choose both (or choose only one) of your Benched Pokémon first before making any searches of your deck. (Silver Tempest FAQ; Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== PSYLASER (Galarian Articuno - SW: Evolving Skies) <SWSH7_63>

Q. If I have 2 {P} Energy and an Aurora Energy or a Rainbow Energy attached to a Galarian Articuno and I use its "Psylaser" attack, do I have to discard the Aurora or Rainbow Energy since I'm not using them as {P} Energy?
A. Yes. Aurora and Rainbow Energy provide all types of Energy all the time when they are attached to a Pokémon, even if you don't want them to. (Oct 13, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== PURSUIT BLAST (Skuntank V - SW: Silver Tempest) <SWSH12_108>

Q. When I use Skuntank V's "Pursuit Blast" attack, do I get to do 120 damage if the opponent's Benched Pokémon I choose was switched out of the Active Spot or no?
A. No, Pursuit Blast only does 120 damage if the chosen Pokémon *retreated* during the opponent's last turn. (Silver Tempest FAQ; Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== SAND ATTACK (Silicobra - SW: Sword & Shield) <SWSH1_107>

== SHRED (Giratina V - SW: Lost Origin) <SWSH11_130>

== STAR CIPHER (Unown VSTAR - SW: Silver Tempest) <SWSH12_66>

Q. If my opponent has no Weakness and I use Unown VSTAR's "Star Cipher" Ability, will my opponent's Pokémon become weak to Psychic?
A. If an opponent's Pokémon has no Weakness printed on the card, Star Cipher will give that Pokémon a x2 Weakness to Psychic. (Silver Tempest FAQ; Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

Q. After using Unown VSTAR's "Star Cipher" attack while Path to the Peak is in play, I then use Spiritomb's "Ticking Terror" attack to change the Defending Pokémon's Weakness to {D}. If my opponent removes Path to the Peak from play, what will that Pokémon's Weakness be?
A. The Weakness will be {P}. Once Path to the Peak is removed from play Star Cipher's effect will reapply, and the most recent Weakness-changing effect takes precedent. (Nov 10, 2022 TPCi Rules Team)

== TICKING TERROR (Spiritomb - SW: Brilliant Stars) <SWSH9_89>
