Are people going to counter Dugtrio, Crystal Beach, and Cessation Crystal?

I think lots of Americans will look at European Nationals results and play Dugtrio for themselves to counter Empoleon. If Empoleon players think that far, they could tech in LatiLock, which not only beats Dugtrio but also helps a lot in the difficult Eeveelutions and Leafeon/Sceptile matchup. Of course there are problems with LatiLock, it's screwed up by Dusknoir and means dead cards and possibly useless starters against the still popular GG/Plox decks. But afaik there isn't any other way to get around Dugtrio, except for Cessation Crystal.
Crystal Beach will be countered since most decks run counter gyms or windstorm. It still can cause problems to the opponent, but there are only a few decks that can effort to run Crystal Beach (Garchomp, maybe Banette and Leafeon/Sceptile).
Cessation Crystal isn't countered by every deck. Since Call Energy works a lot better than Pachirisu against Dusknoir decks, some decks can do very few things against Cessation. But it's still a card that also slows down your own deck. Decks like Empoleon will miss Claydol but still can win with Cessation Crystal in play for some turns of the game.

Most definitely. I can also see dug in the emps themself for the mirror matchup as well. Latilock is just sniperfood, but cess is one way out.

Well you could play Cessation (Crystal Gaurdians), Chatot (Majestic Dawn) and Warp Point. Warp Up your Chatot, use Claydol, put up your active with Cessation.
