Well, before Cresselia was announced, I did think of using Lucario (minus the Lvl. X) with Gallade. It'd be a flexible strategy:

If you started w/Gallade, you used his Sonic Blade to whittle you opponent down to size and then finish w/Lucario's Aura Sphere;

If you started w/Lucario, you Aura Sphere your opponent until Lucario drops, and then clean up w/Gallade's Psychic Cut.

Is that what you were thinking?

The new Xatu is not that much different to Lucario. Problem is the mono weakness. To the best of my knowledge there is no ghost which is able to snipe the bench and I do not know any other low attack cost fighting Pokémon able to snipe.

Egg n rai are both nrg go geters and if a leafeons prized u can always attack with jolteon because the x would be the main attacker
 
the thing that i think will hurt cress. the most is the fact that it has to be active in order for you to level it up, other wise i think it would be broken.

my comp says theres a 6th page but wont load it so im not sure if someone has already said this, but, gengar from dp1 isnt too bad at sniping and its ghost.

Both Raichu and Exeggutor slow the deck down. Evee is the ideal starter since this leaves no more than it's evolution lines in the deck to be searched out with Celio and Quick Balls. Use double rainbows and boosts for a faster fuel for Leafeon. Also tech one Espeon to ensure Leafeon and Jolteon last one more turn than usual. With Leafeon and Jolteon it is all about speed beatdown.

SW Xatu is definitely an interesting card. Its attack's power increases with each Energy on the target Pokemon, which is great for punishing overzealous Blisseys. However, I think its Psychic Shift Poke-Power is infinitely more interesting. Being able to take a status effect on your Active Pokemon and place it on the Defending Pokemon is simply amazing (not to mention just plain mean). Think of what that could mean if you're Paralyzed....woooh.

ETA: Mono-weakness isn't so bad with the DP-on cards as it was with previous cards. Mario (say what you want about it) and several Blissey variants suffer from the exact same problem.
