Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Cresselia LV X overrated?

^ so true, and it might work well with gengar, if u are good with flips. and if u haven't played the card, why say it is bad. i played DP weavile, and it's pretty good, but no one would ever think that, so, test a card before u say it is good or bad.

Don't forget Cresselia, PlusPower AND its power = 60. 2 PlusPowers = 70. There are always going to be ways to make up the damage. The real issue with Cresselia is getting the energy onto it, but there are many ways to do that. Figure out the best way and you have an incredible deck. Moon Skip is so good its not even funny.

Use Mothim (Secret Wonders) and it's attack for no energy, Silver Wind, to make all damage done during your next turn increase by forty. Then, retreat mothim for free during your following turn and Cresselia level X will do 80 damage with it's Moon Skip attack and in many situations in the Modified format this will get you
two prizes, or if it is a Pokemon - ex you will get a massive three prizes. To perfect your strategy use Moonlight Stadium or Phoebe's Stadium to give Cresselia Level X a free retreat cost and retreat again for Mothim. Using Cresselia Lv. X's Poke-Power Full Moon Dance move a damage counter from Cresselia to Mothim and this increases Mothim's attack called Raging Scales to an impressive 70 damage.
This is an awesome card with many other combos, although this is one of my favourite combinations with it.
I will post a deck idea involving Cresselia Level X on a separate thread in the near future and I thank you if you have been bothered to read this post.

Fire type Pokemon are awesome
:fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::lol::thumb::smile::rolleyes::tongue:

Sorry everyone and particularly sorry to Dunsparce Fan, I have not copied your idea, but realised you had suggested Mothim in an earlier post after I had written this post. Please accept my kindest apology.

Hello everyone. I am going to raise a topic of awareness on a card that i think is WAY too overrated.
Let us look at why this card is so overrated:

1. Completly comboless: What can you make with this card?

It combo's with any pokemon who can take damage, which means if you have >100 hp, he can work with you.

2. Cresselia GE: Is not that good, 3 energy for 50, come on!

Because you are going to use it as your main attacker as opposed to a pokemon who you can at any time threaten to doule the pain of a KO or fully heal any of your pokemon at any time. Yeah, nice job thinking that one through =/.

3. Moon Skip: Great! IF the pokemon has 40- HP

Because you are going to one shot all of your opponents pokemon all the time. I love how informed you are about this game. Cress can heal you as well as damage them, and his power means that its actually 50 hp. If you have two out, its 60. Personally, having the ability to make my opponent scared witless whenever they have a pokemon who is at or around half of its HP seems pretty useful to me.

4. Cresselia MD: Let us not get started, future sight: ownage, 3 energy for 40, not so ownage!

Because healing everyone you have for 10 in addition to beign able to heal and damage your opponent doesn't completely wreck damage spread. Because when you kill your opponent's main source of draw bieng able to control what they draw is not completely evil. Because this game is more about doing high damage than taking control of the game, thats why Charizard is the BDIF, it deals 170 for 4. Oh wait, it isn't. Oops?

5. Psychic: Gets kicked in one hit by psychic lock!

Because you are going to have it come out vs a Gardevior when it isn't about to draw you 2 prizes. I will fling Cresselia's at you all day if it means I grab two prizes when I kill you and you only took out a basic and got one prize.

So you see, the card that no one will trade is really not that good. It is only pricey for some reason. DISCUSS these points and feel free to debate, thanks!

Debated. Seriously, if you are going to tell everyone one of the best cards in the format is bad, at least make an effort to next time. Sorry to be harsh on you, but topics like this that aren't thought through and where the OP may as well post "Bling shrigger florgin shrarg" as his arguement, I get a bit annoyed.

Try again, thank you for your time.

Anything that spreads, really.
It can combo with Bronzong and a few energy switch to pull energy and draw prizes.
Combo it with Palkia Lv X, every time your opponent drops a basic, bring it up, kill it, draw two prizes.
The list goes on, just use your imagination.

The combo i like the best with Cresselia lv X is a Poison deck. I been half of one but tore it apart cause I didnt feel like making proxies, I think it would have been great though.

best combo ever coming up next set:

Gliscar lvx evolve and your opponet is auto poisin and parlzed then its attack you return it to your hand have a reg gliscar and a gligar with two cressilias on bench to keep moving damage counters from poisin and they will eventually run outa switches/warps with no retreat they must pass staying parlzed and level up again and again

lots o fun till they break out a dusksnoir =(
