Critique My Gameplay of Basic Blue deck

Hi Guys.

Ive recently gotten back into playing the TCG. I live in the UK and the closest official pokemon league/tournaments is 70 miles away from me.

None of my rl friends play pokemon cards, so im left with just having to play online.

Im limited with the cards ive got online atm, so ive been using just the basic blue deck. I realise that is a garbage deck, and ive been recommened to use the darkrai deck or blastoise.

In regards to gameplay basics etc, im open for feedback and critique on this match:

Feedback would be awesome, no matter how big or small.

Looks like you have the basics down pretty well.
With the B&W Basic Blue Deck there's not much strategy except hit hard & big.
The Hammers are mostly just in case.
Samurot is obviously the best attacker in the deck, and Destructive Whirlpool is quite deadly.

The only suggestions, if you can't get more cards is to do the full Trainer Challenge.
This earning tokens & booster packs.
Log in every 24 hours to get the bonus of the day (either tokens or a booster pack).

Use the codes Boundariescrossed, Plasmafreeze, Plasmastorm, and Plasmablast in the "redeem codes" area to get multiple copies of a deck called Power Relay (basically an Eel deck).
You can use the codes several times.

Once you get enough tokens you can buy some different theme decks.
Or buy 5 card packs from the legal sets.

If you want Blastoise, that's gonna be either in the Boundaries Crossed White Kyurem deck (IIRC).
Or the Plasma Blast Volcanrona deck (I think).

Awesome advice,

So using those words in the redeem codes will net me more cards? Great!

Thanks so much for that buddy.

What is the main series of cards i should be focusing on getting? I have a plasma storm booster box sealed, would that be worth opening?

Well if you want modified it would be Next Destinies and up.
Which it should do automatically if you hit the "filter" button while looking at cards.
Then click on the "modified" button down at the bottom.

Yes, opening the box of Plasma Storm would be a good idea.
Not only would you get cards to use in real life games, you would get codes for virtual boosters as well.
If you use the codes for the boosters, you can try to trade for cards you need, or even use the booster points themselves to trade for cards.

For example somehow I had gotten an extra Colress (Full Art) on the online game.
Somebody offered like 5 boosters for it, so I said "why not"?

My suggestion would be look at the Deck Help & Strategy area for decks that sound interesting.
Then attempt to make them in PTCGO.

BTW that Power Relay deck can not be used in the Trainer Challenge.
It can be used in practice games (against the computer) or Player vs Player games.
If doing the later, you probably want to stick with modified & novice options.
