Darkrai TRU Event

I called one, and got the " Call again in a week and we might have info on it." She said they usually get info and/or items for it about a week or so prior to the event.
 
^ That is pretty much what happened when they had the Manaphy give-away. They did not know about it until like a week to go (and for the event they got a pallet of those Infernape/Tortera/Empoleon Lv. X tins).

BTW if you got a new Diamond or Pearl, I am sure you can get this item. Cause they did the same thing for Manaphy.
 
I'm already planning this, during the event I plan to obtain darkrai on both Diamond and Pearl, then transfer darkrai to Diamond, and reset the pearl version continuosly until the event ends. This is under the assumption its all given through wifi.

If it gives the hotel key then I'll take one and leave, clone later
 
This will make me laugh, knowing this Pokemon could be obtained at the beginning of one's journey:

- What was your starting Pokemon?
* DARKRAI! Forget that cruddy one I took from that professor!
 
There was a link to the TRU website for the Manaphy give away right? Do we have a link for the Darkrai event, so I can make sure there aren't any dreadfully specific details about where you need to be or what you need to have/have accomplished?
 
Pokemon.com is going to give details soon about what is required to recieve Darkrai. More than likely it will be exactly the same as the Manaphy Event. Meaning you need to Unlock Mystery Gift on the Main screen. And then select Recieve gift and choose Get Via Wireless to get the Gift meaning Darkrai, at the Event. And then talk to the Green Guy in any Pokemart to recieve Darkrai. But it's not been Officially Released how you get him, so they could change things on us.

Just heard from my league organizer that the information will be on www.pokemon.com/Darkrai sometime this week. Or atleast some of the information. Its probably going to tell you stuff like you need Mystery Gift and need to beat the E4 or something.

Actually, you don't. Mystery Gift will show up even if you haven't unlocked it while the event is taking place. The game just pick up the signal. Kind of like connecting to PBR, the "Connect to Wii" just shows up.

I knew that. I'm just wondering how people are gonna get copies.
 
31st May Toys R US event - UK also?

Can anyone tell me whether the Toys R Us Pokemon event scheduled for 31st May is also being run in the UK?

This is cool and all, but I'd personally rather have the item that let's you go and catch it. It's much cooler that way :D
