The game did have a lot of potential, but it never got the support it needed centrally. One of the biggest problems to be honest was the simple cost of the figures. Especially when you're looking at random draws (and those who played at the beginning might remember the article I wrote about poor figure distribution between boosters in a sealed carton), such a high price really discourages the kids from getting involved. Between that, and rules which honestly needed a bit more development for them to be usable at an organized play level, the game was going nowhere fast.
