Earning New cards

Hello guys

I am new to the PTCG online. It's a little hard to understand. I've fought the leagues and got the new decks but how to I get booster packs?

Thank you

you need to earn 30 000 points against each opponent which is equal to 4 stars.you get 1 pack per opponent and the best way to do that is to play the "expert" mode against them which earns you 3000-5000 points per win.

Either that or buy actual packs.
Those packs come with a code that gets you a booster pack in the online game.

It should be noted that only Black & White era sets currently come with codes.
It also is a good idea to cash in the codes from sets prior to Plasma Storm really soon.
If you don't, you won't be able to select which pack you can get with those codes.

Since like Plasma Storm & Plasma Freeze, pretty soon the codes will only get you a pack of whichever set you redeem it from.

Thank you for replying. This will take a long time because I'm only allowed to play 2hrs a week.

Another question. How do I trade to get stronger pokemon cards? I think my trading page is broken or something... nothing comes up on it. It's annoying because I verse real people and they have all these good cards and I have bad ones...

you have to get tradeable cards first.cards received from PTCGO aren't tradable.only cards from redeemed codes are tradeable.after that you have to "mark cards for trade" in order to have a "binder" up.when you've done that you can try making some public offers.you should make those as fair as possible if you want to get them accepted as soon as possible.the specific values are currently held in place by graybeast who offers them at what people consider the best prices at the moment.

Also, when you go into the QR Reader section, type set names into the code section. You'll get some cool stuff out of that...

This game is dumb. People have strong cards like kyogre and entei and other ex cards. I can't fight them with my pikachu and raichu. I give up. stupid game

This game is free to try, but more or less "PAY" to play. You need to invest money in codes for online boosters, then once you do that, you can trade those packs (or open them) to get the cards you need for decks. Its an insanely fun game, but just like MtGO you have to invest money to play it.
