ebay Darkrai X Is that a rip off or what?

All the major cards get overhyped in the new sets. I remember at the DP Prereleases, I was getting 36.00 for an RH Palkia, and 26 for a regular one. They were so expensive at the beginning, and Infernape Lv. X was going for 44.00 then as well. You sell at the beginning, because the prices do eventually drop. When the set is brand new, you're able to make the most off it.

However, 100 is more than I expected the card to go for and it is more than what Charizard Ex was worth when it came out. I think that means that in a few years it will rival what Charizard Ex is going for now. I also think that anywhere from 50-80 will be where the card will settle at. I think it is more insane that the Palkia/Dialga rares are going for more than 10 ea.

P.S. Everyone saying Darkrai Lv. X will be in a tin is crazy, they have only announce 2 pokemon in the 3 tins, and they were Dialga and Palkia. There has also been no confirmation that they are gonna be Lv. X. This is how rumors start and how everyone thinks that the Lv. X are gonna be the tin cards. You also have to look at the fact that there are 2 versions of Palkia and Diagla Lv. X, and there isnt 2 of Darkrai Lv. X mean Darkrai Lv. X only printing will be in GE. When will we be getting the other 2, I have no clue, but it wouldnt suprise me if it was the tins or P7.

This website shows Palkia Tin and the tow other guys are bound to be Dailga nad Darkrai.
But for now all we can do is cross our fingers.

Also, Dante63s, the Lugia Ex I was talking about isnt the UF one, it is a players promo and it is psychic.

In addition, Darkrai Lv. X will stay about 50 USD and here is why, Darkrai is in a nice/elite category along with Lugia and Charizard. If you remember when Charizard Ex came out it went for about 70-80 before the set was release. Darkrai is going for 90-100, and when Charizard went down it only went down to about 55 before making it's upward climb toward 200 USD. I think you will see that in 2-4 years Darkrai Lv. X will be the same. I think I the tins wont make a difference for very long. I expect to see the Darkrai tins sell out within 2 weeks and then the only place to be able to find the cards will be online or via trade. This will negate any affect that mass releasing them in tins would do.

I've seen some new tins for sale. They came out last week. They're probably the ones you are refering to. One comes with a foil POP3 Ho-oh EX, one comes with a foil POP1 Tyranitar EX (Same one as the one in the Target gift box) and the other comes with a foil POP1 Armaldo EX.
New tins with cards that aren't moddified legal...yay.:nonono:
 
Edit: Just because you lucked out and pulled one from your first pack doesn't mean they are gonna be all that common.
