The event will be without cost. Anyone bringing a new player?
Is there any interest in having match play (best 2 of 3?). I think we have enough time for 5-6 rounds (no t8).
mr cary i think we shoudl best out of 3 with like 5 rounds or 6.
Not to be a party-pooper, but I don't know if we're allowed to do match play at the City Championships events. You'd better dbl-check with PUI to make sure.
Besides, playing with matches can be dangerous; we don't want anyone to hurt themselves now, do we? /
I am going to attempt to come to this one, but my dad is pretty Poke'd out.
im coming of course becuase i live in the town but i wonder if alot of kids from come for 11-14
Thought that was a synonym for Judge.
I'll check -- is it true that a certain Southwestern City used 2 on 2 active Pokémon as the format for their City Championship? Seems like match play is a lot less likely to upset someones' strategy than that little surprise -- although I'm sure it keeps down the carpet-baggers! (Carpet-baggers are welcome at our CC; you know who you are).
But I digress. I'll check with Steve--by email.
Woot! The engraved medals and prize support arrived today! I've updated the links in the first post.
I'll certainly try to be there. All these weekends in a row of Pokemon is taking its toll on my poor parents (Who have been MORE than kind putting up with all these Saturday Tournaments in a row), so if I do come, it'll likely be way of another friend who's already coming.
