ESMB League (SoCal): NOT Meeing May 6

wat happend was i left my bag and my box on the table. me marsh and kory were playing dbz while waiting for zane to finsh his t8 match i lost mine. I went to pick up my bag and i thought my box was in the bag. I look in the bag and it wasnt there the bag was on the table next to us to.
 
So you either lost the deck or someone stole it? Either way that sucks.

Argh, somehow the world always finds a way to delay me from finishing a deck that I like. :confused:

According to Dan something kept him from going. Must've known ahead of time since Dan had the books and case already there.
 
Hey guys!

Sorry to miss two weeks in a row. Last week was kept late at work and it was pouring. This week I was hoping up to the last minute that they would get the remains of the house-sized boulder (and close up the 30 inch water main they broke) off of PCH, but no luck. Both canyons to east are closed (Topanga & Malibu) so, I'd have to wait in the commute out Kanan to Westlake before heading for the South Bay... 3 hours in the car most likely.

So, as soon as they fix the coast road I'll be back. Keep track of your points ... I'll make sure you guys get caught up on your Floe Island points next week.

This is a long event, but that means lots of matches. The best players in our region will be there and this means not only good competition, but also that we have to show up and represent our league, because we have some very fine players and multiple champions as well.

Folks, it's SUNDAY 9am ... be ready!

Download, Print and Fill-in Your Decklist in Advance!
I recommend you use pencil, but DEFINITELY do this before you arrive.

You will also want to get a copy of the lastest rulings from the Compendium EX

Let's represent our League - in the best way!

There's been some trash talking and some people go to these events JUST to win. I hope you guys and gals will let your best shine through, even when there is a problem. Never let someone drag you into an argument. Look for a judge, or Dan or myself.

bulbasnore's tips:
  • Shuffle your opponents deck to start a game, even if its a buddy.
  • If there is a problem or question, stop play and call a judge. Its too late afterward.
  • Leave as much of your stuff as you can in the car.
  • Keep what you bring into the event inside a closed bag/pack and keep it in sight.
  • Be yourself, be friendly, support your leaguers and have fun.

Hope to see MANY of you there and some of you in the final rounds!

Nice job. It TRULY captures the feeling of having league in Dan's lab. Go go 'Gatr!
 
We ARE meeting Friday March 11.
We ARE NOT meeting Friday March 18 due to a swim invitational.

I will still make some badges; my computer went nuts (hard drive? still checking).
We will still have Pentathlon, not scheduled yet.

Here's a new thing for League:

If you bring a new 10 and under player to league and teach them the game, you will receive 5 bonus OP packs!
