"ex Unseen Forces": Del City, OK...August 13, 2005

Speaking for myself, Judge Brian & Judge Ryan, we will be happy to have any & all players come Saturday.
Right now it's only about 50 hours away.

ST Pika - I hope you remember me from Memphis.

Hwkeye2 - What about your brother & your not so brother Brad? Will we be seeing them?
 
I'm pretty sure Devin will be there... Brad has a football game so he won't make it... My other not so brother Shawn may come don't know... But for sure you'll have me!!! Who can pass on free tourney which = free new cards...See ya Sat...

I hope that your other not so brother, Shawn will be there. Me thinks that he has "FREE" admission, also from the last pre-release.

Old Man- Yes, I remember you... will be nice to see yah again.

I will be giving out some of my fake cards tomorrow, so make sure and ask me for one. I can't wait to attend my first OK prerelease- just 24h 20 min till registration. See y'all soon!
 
MP Birch is packed and ready to go!!! I will be leaving at 2:00pm for San Antonio for the "ex Unseen Forces" Pre-release tomorrow morning. If you have any questions, please post them here and "old man" (Roy) will be glad to answer them for you. MP Birch hopes that you have a fun and great time tomorrow at your Pre-release at "Drake's Place".

I had a lot of fun and met some nice people... and getting 3rd place doesn't hurt, either. (4-2 Swiss, then won the first round and lost the second round of finals) This was a great event, props to Roy for running a very energetic tournament. See y'all next time!
 
Thanks ST PIKA. Energetic is not the word I would use since I had been up since 5pm on Friday. :)

Just a brief report. There were 11 people in the GBA advance tournament & it was won by Nicole N.
There were 53 players in the main event, ( 7 in -10, 17 in 11-14 & 29 15+)
Props to Deven D. for winning the -10, Will B. for winning 11-14 & Nicole N. for winning 15+.

After the main tournament there was a Booster draft with 30 players in it.
Props to Andrew J. for winning it.

Of special note, props to my son for getting 2nd place in both the main event & booster draft. He hadn't done well in limited events for a year now so it was a surprise to me.

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who attended. I hope you had fun & got some good cards.
