*The Lab door creaks open... and a small pokemon floats out and posts this deck on my board! "E-GADS!! THIS IS AMAZING!!" I exclaim with unnerving excitement... The little pokemon grins eerily and vanishes into thin air...*

Whose that Pokemon!! <-- DUKEFIREBIRD's HAUNTER is RIGHT!! PM me your address I will send you a prize!!

    POKEMON 19

    3x Chikorta MT
    2x Bayleef MT
    3x Meganium d
    1x Meganium MT

    3x Magby
    3x Magmar
    3x Magmortar
    1x Magmortar Lv. X

    4x Bill’s Maintenance
    2x Steven’s Advice
    1x Rowan
    1x Team Galactic Wager
    3x Celio’s
    3x H. Mentor
    2x Castaway
    3x Rare Candy
    4x Windstorm
    x1 Strength Charm [DEL]2x Buffer Piece[/DEL]
    2x Night Maintenance

    ENERGY 15

    2x Holon FF
    4x Fire
    4x Fighting
    4x DRE
    x1 Scramble

The idea here is to setup a Meganium as fast as possible so that you can speed setup your Magmortar’s! (This same concept could be used with Blissey) With Evolutionary Call, you can Grab 2 Magby, 1 Magmar and in the Same turn play Mentor and can get 1 Magby and 2 Magmar.. provided they aren’t prized! Count them, that is 7 Pokemon Played in one turn!!! (Meg d, Magby x3, then Baby Evo x3 to Magmar!!) This begins IMPENDING DEATH for the opponent!!

Sit there with Meg d doing the Reduction whilst you build the Magmortar Army and of course building another Meg d! If by Luck you can Chik-Candy-Megd next turn…. Then 3 Magmortar are out and the Bench just gets better!!

FF is in there to get rid of the weakness for both and for Meg to go through some resistance out there!! The Tech Meg MT is for Status and Stalling if needed.. also helps in the Mirror Matchup with it’s 2nd attack! So there you have it!!

since your playing magmortar, i will give this deck the doc approval.

you do need a pokesearcher in a magmortar deck. so meggy d can do that for you. so that's good.
with a better trainer line up and tweak the energy a little bit so youll be concentrating on the magmortar. and you should be good to go.

I think you officially hold the record for the most decks

I just can't stand Bill's Maintenance. I want to punch somebody when I draw the card I shuffled in.

With so many windstorms running around, buffer piece seems kind of iffy. Strength charm seems to usually be more effective. I do understand the increased delta reduction. I would still try to fit in atleast one charm.

Like Psyco said, a scramble or two would be nice.
    -4 Bill
    -1 DRE
    +2 Steven's
    +2 Scramble
    +1 Fire/Charm/draw/I dunno

I'm pretty sure Bill's Maintenance is there in conjunction with Meganium D's power. You shuffle a pokemon in that you needed, then get it back with Meganium and get a free 3 cards.

JK.. you know me.. just trying to get as many ideas out there as possible to make sure no one knows what I am playing.. oh yes.. I am playing for a while this year!!

Skull Bash hit the it right on the "HEAD".....get it SKULL Bash, hit it o nthe head...cheezy :nonono:
Shuffle in a POke and get ti back.. as long as you dont draw into it as you mentioned!

I feel the need for more fire is not very driven. However, it would be nice to see what you are suggesting to take out Doc. It is easy to suggest putting something in, it is more difficult to make sure you dont disrupt the flow of the deck by taking a crucial item out!!

    Some Changes made!

This deck gets a lot better when you get the new Magmortar. Looks cool though.

  10. Your big bench, meet my Steven's.
Your big bench, meet my warp point.
Your fully charged Magmortar X on the bench, meet my Dusknoir.
    Poke Power Dark Palm.
But that is about all my deck does so you still win.

    So true Jim!!

DCP... That is all fine, then what.. I still hit you for 80 with no discard with Magmortar and Burn your little ghosty!!

It is still nice though! Dusknoir I think is going to catch people off guard! your playing what.. great and I need that full bench!

Anymore changes.. or guess on "Whose that POKEMON?"

so far on apprentice, the setup is very nice and the overall performance is great! the most difficult position is the End Game, it is somewhat difficult if it is a prize for prize game!

DukeFireBird... see the message on the first post!
  14. Is this deck begging for Claydol?

well if you look at the dates which was like 5 months ago when mt was released
  16. I know , but I like the thought that went into this deck. Now with the new set I was trying to see the new build on it. So far the new set has not had to many game centered decks just support crew. The Meganium gets out the Baltoy and Claydol and speeds up the deck.

Woah. I put this on RedShark and played around with it and it works wonders. Although some well made Dusknoir decks are the bane of this.
