This deck's the replacement for the deck I called Firecats. Still a Blaziken deck, but the rest of it's undergoing a major change in focus. So much so that I'm considering it to be a whole new deck.

    Pokemon (19):
    4 Torchic (Fireworks)
3 Combusken (2 Double Kick, 1 Natural Cure)
    3 Blaziken (2 Holo, 1 Non-holo) [wish it could be 3 holo]
    3 Moltres (SK)
    2 Wobbuffet (SS)
    2 Electabuzz (SS)
    2 Raikou (SK)

    Trainers (22):
    2 Pokemon Fan Club
    2 Wally's Training
    2 Professor Oak's Research
    3 Copycat
    2 Juggler
    2 Pokemon Nurse
    1 Town Volunteers
    3 Switch
    3 Energy Switch
    2 Hyper Potion

    Energy (19):
    12 Fire Energy
    4 Lightning Energy
    3 Multi Energy

Strategy: Holo Blaziken powers my Pokemon with Firestarter. Lots of ways to discard Energy. Main hitter is Moltres, with the Blaziken line as main backup. Raikou and Electabuzz are Electric tech. Electabuzz is also a bench sniper. Wobbuffet is anti-Psy, anti-ex tech. Trainers focus on draw, search, positional control, and healing.

I might do that, but first I want to playtest this version.

Oh Ya! Why don't you just make proxys?

Isn't this just a little bit like Shockblaze? :p

Because most of the people I would play IRL are not that familiar with the game, and I don't like proxies if I'm playing IRL. Also, part of the deckbuilding challenge for me is not using cards i don't have. And yes, it is a lot like Shockblaze -- that was intentional. It just got to the point where the deck's so much unlike what it used to be, I thought it was high time I separated it from its predecessors.

Yeah, I don't like proxies either, but if I know I can/am getting the card I use them for testing purposes.

Well, here's version 2.0. I'm trading for a couple of the cards to simplify the deck.

    Pokemon (19):
    4 Torchic (Fireworks)
    3 Combusken (Double Kick)
    3 Blaziken (Holo)
    3 Moltres (SK)
    3 Numel
    2 Camerupt
    1 Magmar ex

    Trainers (23):
    2 Pokemon Fan Club
    2 Wally's Training
    2 Professor Oak's Research
    3 Copycat
    3 Juggler
    2 Pokemon Nurse
    1 Town Volunteers
    3 Switch
    3 Energy Switch
    2 Hyper Potion

    Energy (18):
    18 Fire Energy

Strategy: Big changes -- the deck's now pure Fire. Camerupt's the cleaner, Magmar ex for stall/backup attack, Moltres as main hitter of sorts, holo Blaziken as Energy support and attacker. Trainer engine is unchanged other than the third Hyper Potion.
