If you want to lower you supporter count, remove all three lady outings for energy search, it isn't that effective with only two colors of energy, I only really find it effective with 4+ colors of energy or if you have REALLY low counts on all three colors in a three color deck.

Well, I'm not that fond of Energy Search, but dropping the Lady Outings sounds like a good idea. Actually, I'm thinking of dropping the following cards:

  • 3 Lady Outing
  • 2 Fisherman
  • 1 Town Volunteers

but I can't decide what to put in. Here are the Trainers I'm considering for those slots, and why. If a Trainer has a 2 or 3 in parentheses next to its name, that's how many I have available. Otherwise, I have 4 of it.

  • Energy Restore. Discard rescue for Energy.
  • Energy Removal 2. Disruption, although it has no specific connection with the theme.
  • Pokenav (2). Not the strongest search Trainer out there, but for a non-Supporter, not horrible.
  • Fast Ball (2). Again, non-Supporter search. A little more powerful than Pokenav, perhaps, but more limited and risky.
  • Miracle Sphere alpha (2). An extra attack. Thing is, to make it worth it, I would probably also have to change 2-3 of my Fire Energy to Fighting (giving the potential of 40 + self-heal 30 + confusion, as opposed to just 30 + confusion), which is otherwise not necessarily a good idea.

Hmmm... I am still not really getting the deck. I think much of it is a question of focus. The Blazikens don't really work that well together. They work together: just not well. You have to split your time between the two. It's the mixed blessing of being part of the same line: running one means less of the other. As such, I recommend SK Moltres (and some Math lessons ;) ). Do the math: RRCC yeilds only 50 damage. Each R is 15, and each C is 10. There is a discard, but it is only half the time. So that 50% chacne of discard purchases an extra 10 damage, which is basically fair. Now, its first attack is over powered: C should only do 10, and this one has a good effect. So, comboing it with the Blazikens should be fine. If that is not to your taste, try SkyRidge Entei: a little weaker, but faster, it has 70 HP (10 less than the Moltres), same Water Weakness, no Resistance (-_-), but a reterat of only one. It does 40 for RCC, and if you wish, you may flip a coin, and on heads, Burn the Defender and discard one of your R energy. With the Blazikens, you could get and reasy several of these in a row, and when one is about to be KOed, Pokemon Nurse then switch to the bench and bring up another. In case you didn't when you attach a R energy to Entei from your hand, you have to discard another eneryg card. Since Blaziken's Power off sets this, you could probably ready Enteis pretty quick. that or go back to Manectric/Camerupt. ;)

I do keep coming back to SK Moltres as a possibility (I've actually done that very calculation). Too bad I don't have any yet. Anyway, the Blaziken mix is really more because I only have 2 Holo Blaziken, and because Non-Holo Blaziken's Flamethrower is useful as a cleaner, than because of synergy. You could say the Non-Holo Blazikens got splashed in. They do work out, though -- Flamethrower gives me an R Energy in the discard for Holo Blaziken to use Firestarter on.
If you're wondering where the synergy is between Blaziken and the Delcatty, look at Cannonball and Ultra Energy Source. Each is powered up by that Delcatty having more Energy on it, with no upper limit. Normally, they would be very inefficient as attackers, but this deck is built to quickly add Energy to them. They are actually quite powerful when used well.
You mentioned Camerupt/Manectric on AIM. Rest assured, I'll try that one at some time soon.

Finally figured out what changes I wanted to make, and here's what I came up with.

Pokemon (24):
4 Torchic (2 Singe, 2 Fireworks)
4 Combusken (2 Natural Cure, 2 Double Kick)
4 Blaziken (2 Flamethrower, 2 Firestarter)
2 Electabuzz (SS)
4 Skitty (Plus Energy)
4 Delcatty (2 SS, 2 R/S Uncommon)
2 Makuhita (Low Kick)

Trainers (20):
3 Copycat
2 Juggler
2 Professor Oak's Research
2 Potion
2 Pokemon Nurse
1 Town Volunteers
2 Switch
2 Energy Switch
2 Pokenav
2 Miracle Sphere alpha

Energy (16):
10 Fire Energy
4 Electric Energy
2 Fighting Energy

Notes: Strategy is more or less the same. Now down to 10 Supporters. The most notable new Trainer is Miracle Sphere Alpha. If I can get (R)(F)(L) on Combusken or Blaziken, I can do 40 damage, remove 3 damage counters, and Confuse the opponent, all in one attack. Makuhita is tech against Delcatty or Linoone. 24-20-16 is a wierd set of card ratios for me, but I think it may work. I just hope I still have enough Fire Energy.

Slight changes made today.
-1 Skitty
-2 Delcatty (Sandstorm)
+2 Fire Energy
+1 Delcatty (R/S Uncommon)

Turned out I had another Uncommon Delcatty lying around. Since that one seems to be the better of the two, I decided to switch to just using it, and up my Fire Energy count a little.

Um, yeah. Makuhita really only went in because I was already teching in Fighting Energy for Miracle Sphere alpha. But I got my Skyridge box today, and now I'm dropping those Makuhitas for two SK Moltres.

OK, here's the most current version of the decklist.

Pokemon (22):
3 Torchic (Fireworks)
3 Combusken (1 Natural Cure, 2 Double Kick)
3 Blaziken (1 Flamethrower, 2 Firestarter)
2 Electabuzz (SS)
3 Skitty (Plus Energy)
3 Delcatty (R/S Uncommon)
3 Moltres (SK)
2 Elekid (SS)

Trainers (20):
3 Copycat
2 Juggler
2 Professor Oak's Research
2 Pokemon Nurse
2 Oracle
1 Town Volunteers
2 Switch
2 Energy Switch
2 Pokenav
2 Miracle Sphere alpha

Energy (18):
12 Fire Energy
4 Electric Energy
2 Fighting Energy

Strategy and Notes: Well, it's still the same basic idea, but it sure has changed in the last few versions. SK Moltres and SS Elekid are newcomers. SK Moltres is there as added Fire power (excuse the pun). Blaziken helps me get around its Power, as does SS Elekid. SS Elekid is there for two reasons. One, Electabuzz was already there, so it made sense to look at Elekid. Second, it helps me power up quickly, by attaching an Energy card from the deck to one of my Pokemon. Since it's not coming from the hand, I can attach any Energy to anyone -- SK Moltres' annoying Poke-Body doesn't trigger, and nobody else has any restrictions. Also, it is now theoretically possible for SS Electabuzz to use Miracle Sphere alpha -- the Pokemon must be Evolved and the right type, but it never says anything about being a Stage 1 or higher.

[EDIT]I also added Oracle for a little deck control, and dropped the Blaziken line to 3-3-3. Now I really wish I had one more Holo Blaziken. Card ratios are a little off for me -- 22-20-18, as opposed to 18-24-18, but they'll do. I have not playtested this version.

I'm dropping the two Pokenav for third copies of Switch and Energy Switch.

[EDIT]A couple of questions.
First, as I have noted in previous posts, I do have one Holo Delcatty. Should I drop one Uncommon Delcatty for it?
Second, I am considering dropping the Miracle Sphere alphas and the Fighting Energy for a Fire Energy, a Lightning Energy, and 2 of either SS Pichu or SK Raikou. Should I, and if so, should I go for Raikou or Pichu? The only reason I'm not sure if I want to do this one is because it leaves me with 24 Pokemon and only 18 Trainers, but it could work.

Please note, the final post on page 2, with the changes noted in this post, is the current version of the decklist.

I went on another editing blitz today, and here's the updated list.

Pokemon (20):
4 Torchic (Fireworks)
3 Combusken (1 Natural Cure, 2 Double Kick)
3 Blaziken (1 Flamethrower, 2 Firestarter)
2 Electabuzz (SS)
3 Skitty (Plus Energy)
3 Delcatty (2 R/S Uncommon, 1 R/S Holo)
2 Dunsparce (SS)

Trainers (22):
3 Copycat
2 Juggler
2 Professor Oak's Research
2 Oracle
1 Town Volunteers
2 Wally's Training
3 Switch
3 Energy Switch
3 Hyper Potion
1 Mystery Zone

Energy (18):
13 Fire Energy
5 Electric Energy

Strategy/Notes: Lots of changes, as you can see. Strategy is to cycle Energy, discarding it in a number of different ways (Holo Delcatty, Hyper Potion, attacks, Juggler, etc.) and bringing it back with Blaziken, sometimes Buzz or Uncommon Delcatty. Main attackers are Holo Blaziken (bench-blaster), non-holo Blaziken (cleaner), Electabuzz (bench sniper, anti-Water), and Uncommon Delcatty (late-game). Dunsparce helps me get Pokemon on the bench. Trainers should be pretty obvious.

I'm sorry if I sound dumb, but why are you using the uncommon Delcatty's? The Holo version goes MUCH better with this deck!

The answer to those questions are yes, and it depends on if your havin' trouble getting nrg, or you need another strong attacker. If it were my deck, I would use all Holo Delcatty, and Raikou.

Well, what I was trying to point out is that I don't have any more Holo Delcatty. I already decided the answers to my questions. Besides, the Uncommon Delcatty are there as an attacker. In that sense, the Uncommon is better than the Holo. As far as Raikou's concerned, considering the major changes, I could only put it in by taking out Dunsparce -- not necessarily a bad idea, but not necessarily a good one either.
