Gencon - Nobody running Pokemon?

Just checked the Gencon events. There's no one running any Pokemon events?

As the former organizer for Pokemon events at GenCon... We haven't done it since 2007. I doubt that POP will ever support events there again. However that shouldn't stop others from independently running events. But no one has stepped up to do that.

I am not trying to speak for POP, I am just going by my experience running the events there.

Highly disappointing. Isn't that a prerelease weekend, as well?

It pains me to say it, but I think the 1300+ players at Nationals makes a strong case that Pokemon doesn't need a presence at game conventions.
