Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

GenCon V Worlds - Your opinion?

"Orlando has more hotel rooms than any city in the United State, possibly even the world. "

I thought that was Vegas.

"Who said we're not going to the theme parks?! That's what FRIDAY is for!"

Unless you have to be in the open event or are traveling.

But yeah, there are numerous great hotel deals. Take a look at those travel web sites.

For those of you watching the budget: The cheapest hotels on Walt Disney World property are the All Star Resorts (Sports, Music, Pop Culture) near Disney's Animal Kingdom and The Wide World of Sports complex. They offer transportation, as does every other location on Disney property, to the Wyndham, Theme Parks, etc.

Late August is the start of the Non Peak Season. Area hotels on I-Drive and some on Disney/Universal property will lower their rates.

I don't know where Vegas stands, but it's my understanding that Orlando is #1 and Los Angeles is #2 in hotel rooms. And the prices in Orlando certainly reflect that.

Good point about the travelling Yoshi. I was thinking about Seattle in 2002 and we arrived on Thursday and spend all day Friday running around town sightseeing. But if you're in town on Friday and can break loose, Disney will be more than happy to move you from the hotels onto park property. :)

This should be a GREAT event.

Basic Survival Tips For Orlando Visitors:

I have been to orlando manyyyy times in my life and if sightseeing is your thing bring the following tools:

A car
A lot of money
Plenty of drink and food for the long day

I know seaworld is a while from disney and the price to get a all day disney pass is now just about $100. That includes admission to all of disneys parks buit i GUARENTEE you will not be able to enjoy allllllll of disey in a day unless you rush through some of it or pass up some fun spots.

There is a complementary bus that rides to all of diseny world so nomatter what you will always have transportation while there.

Universal is a little ways outside disney so that why you will need the car

The prics inside orlando for admission, food and stuff is alot thats why you need the money

The orilando sun in august gets into the 100's and when you walk out sometimes you fell the humidity like a wall of heat all day so thats why bring plenty of drink
The parks are SPREAD OUT so thats why bring plenty of food to keep your strenght up.

Also if you get a chance, bring a small portable fan for the heat.

This comes from a guy who had visited orlando 5 times in his life during july and august and knows how hard it is to get around. Ohh also outside the diseny resort in a small mall they have a pirates cove mini golf which is sooooo much fun.

Just 2 miles past disney there is a supermarket unless you need to buy food while your there.

What i was stating was about SiteSeeing not worlds. I know many peopel get there a day early to do some siteseeing and thats why i [posted the advice. I should of mentioned worlds would be a free event to walk into.
