Today as in November the second i got my box of pokemon cards and only one card i am missing for this deck. But in this deck i keep attacking with gengar ex second attack and keep switching it with a new benched pokemon. I did not put virbank city gym because a lot of decks has that stadium card in it and i think stoping weakness in this deck is important so i put shadow circle in here instead. Dusknoir is real in a gengar ex deck. You can move damage counters any way you want then gengar or chandelure can use there first attack to knock out multiple pokemon possible. In this deck you can lysander out garbordor and knock him out in one shot because of weakness. Retreating is real good in this deck because i got dark energy's and darkri ex in here

pokemon 17

2 gengar ex
1 mega gengar
2-0-2 dusknoir bc
2 sigilyth lt
1 chandelure ex
1 keldeo bc
1 aeroglash ex
1 plasma snorlax
2 darkri ex
1 yvettle bw

Trainers and supporters and stadiums 31

2 Dimensional valley
2 shadow circle
3 colress
3 N
2 juniper
3 pokemon fan club
1 ultra ball
3 skyla
2 lysandre
2 Xerosic
2 rare candy
1 float stone
2 muscle band
1 computer search
2 max potion

Energy 12

2 rainbow energy
6 dark energy
4 psychic energy

Just one small thing, are your duskull also BC or are they the flashfire version, which I believe is much better due to it's having a fighting resistance which could save it.

ageislash ex doesnt go well in this, nor does the darkrai or yvetal, chandalure or keldeo... its very cluttered and unfocused. i can understand ageislash ex for the pokemon with special energy, but if they dont use any, Kangaskan/Aromatess, Yveltal/Seismatoad, kinda decks, that dont have to use special, you just give them a extra 2 prizes with a pokemon your never going to attack with. keep it simple, with 4 Gengar Ex 1 Mega Gengar, keep your dusknoir line but make it 2-1-2, because if you fight seismatoad you'll never get your dusknoir out ever ! plus if your unlucky to have 2 R candy prized... yea... bump your sigi up to 3. you'll need atleast 3 flaot stone and 3 ultra balls, minimum. deff run virbank or dimension valley. not both. you'll wanna concentrate one or the other. because with 3 energy for dark corridor and no DCE you'll take 3 turns to do your main damage. always run 3-4 junipers and you'll only need 2 fan clubs. your max potions isnt a bad idea, but you'll be discarding energy with no way to get them back. i'd say drop those also... annnnd Gengar mega is useless to you without Gengar Link because your giving up a turn. i run only 1 in my deck so i'd recommend atleast 1.

17 pokemon :
4 Gengar ex
1 Mega Gengar
2-1-2 Dusknoir
3 Sigilyph
2-2 Trevenant or Dragalge (so you can block items or poison lock them, i run both in mine)

Traienrs : 30
3 Dimension vally
1 Coloress
1 Gengar Spirit Link
3 N
3 Juniper
2 Pokemno Fan club
3 Ultra Ball
2 Skyla
2 Lysnadre
3 Rare Candy
2 Float stone
2 Muscle Band
1 computer search OR Dowsing machine
2 Robo Subsitute

Energy : 13
4 DCE
5 Psy
4 Mystery (this works as a float stone also)

just an idea to keep the deck more focused on the actual attacker, and you still one hit killers in case anyone uses garbo or another sigilpyh or 2 hit ko a suicune. also if you really wann a make the most of dusknoir's sinster hand.... deff go with virbank because it's an extra 3 damage between turns that you can move around your next turn putting more pressure on the opponent. im running Gengar Ex myself this year at all the events :) best of luck to ya and i hope this helps !

This list is a lot different now....But i still have keldeo and darkri ex and they work extremely well. In a small tournament i played three matches and i only lost three matches. Aerigkash worked pretty well in this deck didn't work pretty well in this deck. Sigilyth did not work well for me some times i wonder if one is to much. I rarely ever get one gengar knocked out rather than have four of them.

Hi, I thought I would drop by and give my two cents. I understand you goal in wanting to switch in a wall, it's a strong strategy. You have some good pieces in place like Gengar and Sigilyph. With that being said some cards in your deck are just clutter such as Darkrai and Yveltal. With Gengar using Dark Corridor, you're switching and combo that with Float Stone in whichever wall suits best. Yveltal and Darkrai dont quite fit in. I suggest Trevenant and more Sigilyph. Hoped I helped.

Pokemon

2 darkri ex
2 gengar ex
1 reshiram

2 dusknoir bc
1 azelf pb
1 keldeo ex

Trainers and supports and stadiums

2 muscle band
2 rare candy
2 maxpotion
1 robo subsitute
1 ultra ball
1 enhanced hammer
2 float stone
1 computer search
3 N
2 lysandre
2 juniper

1 shauna
3 skyla
3 pokemon fan club
3 Dimensision valley

Energy 13

5 psychic energy
3 rainbow energy
5 dark energy

Well in this list i thought azelf and aeroglash would be a good combination. Azelf moves your opponents special energy how ever you want. Dimension valley makes azelf bottom attack cost two energy cards. I am thinking about putting mew ex in here. And i am thinking about putting an extra flash fire dusknoir in here.

In a small tournament i played three matches and i only lost three matches.
Is this correct that you lost all 3 matches? If so, then your deck may not have worked well... Please clarify.

Note that Azelf is most effective when your opponent has "lots" of Special energy in play, moves opponent's energy via an attack, is exposed for at least 1 turn before you attack since you need to attach a minimum of 2 energy, and will most likely be KOd after its attack. I would expect most good players to simply KO this Poke before you could attack with it. So, does it really help you in the long run given the aforementioned issues???

Btw, have you played against Yveltal EX and/or Seismitoad EX decks yet? How are you dealing with them since those are unfavorable match-ups for this deck, IMO.

Lastly, your current list makes the deck seem more like a "toolbox" than a Gengar-based deck. Is that your intention?

Your right tuxedo azelf didnt work well but i won two matches and lost one that time i spoke about. But just the other day in a small torment i won two matches and lost one match with this deck. I lost to a yvettle deck lysandre was brutal on me but i won against a donphan deck and a brongzong deck. Dusknoir worked out real well in this deck. This should win against semitoad because i can poison semitoad and possibly put three damage in between turns for poison. And i can lysadre there garbordor up and knock it out right away and possibly bring up sigilyth. Im missing a card on 11/23/14 so i taken out azelf and i put in one skyla to help me find rare candy and other things and i put in a ff dusknoir in.

I would replace the Rainbow Energies with Blends. Nothing in your deck attacks for anything other than GRPD except for Reshiram.

Well if i where to do that walrus i would have to run this deck in bw on torment. But master ball is my ace spec in this deck. This deck does very poorly when it comes to discarding so i put that in here.
