Getting started as a pokemon professor

I was hoping from some advise on this. I live in Fort Worth TX where Pokemon is rampant, but not in Fort Worth itself. There is a league, but as of yet our only claim to fame is a city championchip. Master Professor Birch is near by, but is based in Richardson which is an hour away. I am planing on helping Mr Richard with our league, but would like to do things that earn me professor points, and give me exposure so that POP might ask me to judge or something. Any advise out there?

Will you be running league for him? If so, you could ask the league owner to be put on as a league leader on that league's account. I found out from Rainbow Richards that a league can have up to 3 league leaders, then I got it set up for our league. Since there are 3 of us that run things (more or less) it works out well. That way you can get some points, but your ability to judge may be something that may take other solutions.
