Good nature for Heatran?

Just a question, what's a good nature for a Heatran? I'm currently going to try resetting for one. I just caught one with a Naive nature. Would that be good?

EDIT: It's IVs are terrible. 13 / 2 / 18 - 19 / 10 - 11 / 8 - 9 / 23. I'm gonna go for a different one.
EDIT2: Next one, (Hardy): 16 / 13 - 14 / 26 / 5 / 18 - 19 / 0. No thank you.
EDIT3: Again, (Jolly): 6 / 3 - 4 / 13 / 21 / 1 - 2 / 11 *throws up*

I would say Modest or Timid if you're using it as a sweeper. Get a Espeon that is ether Modest or Timid and use its ability to make it a 50% chance of making Heatran the same nature as Espeon.

Timid is one of the best natures a Heatran can have. It already has a monstrous Sp.A stat, any help it can get with Speed is very welcome.

It depends on what team your using.

If its a Sunny Day team, use Modest/Timid because Fire Blast in the sun can 2HKO most Blisseys.

However, if its something else, use Naive/Rash and include Explosion on your set so Blissey won't be a problem.

For a Heatran... depends. Usually, Heatran can be a decent mixed sweeper, in which case you'd want Naive, Hasty, or Mild. If you're going straight special, take Timid or Modest.

Even though it's been beaten to death, a +Spe or +SpA nature benefits Heatran the best, while ideally detracting from one of the Defenses or Attack if you don't plan on using Explosion.

Heatran's speed is a little low, so best option would be Modest and maybe give it a Choice Scarf.

Heatran's base speed is 77. At L100 with a max IV and EV in speed and a neutral nature, it caps at 253 speed. A Scarf brings that up to 379, which ties with Electrode's unboosted max speed.

If you put it up against opposing pokemon with a +speed nature, base 125 speed pokemon like Weavile and Darkrai (as well as anything faster, like Crobat, Mewtwo, Aerodactyl, and Jolteon) are now faster than Heatran at 383 speed. Heatran needs Timid to beat Weavile and Aerodactyl, notably - they carry super effective physical moves that will probably ruin Heatran's day.

That's also ignoring any need for Heatran to beat fellow Scarfers around the 70~80 base speed range, notably the occasional Scarf Breloom, as well as beating Dragon Dance Gyarados.

It's not a HUGE difference, but Timid is really useful. Heatran's already monstrous base Special Attack is usually enough for it to do its job without Modest.
