HGSS prerelease in Granada Hills, CA

Hi. I've been looking EVERYWHERE and I can't find the address for the HGSS prerelease in Granada Hills, CA. I even checked www.go-pokemon.com (www.pokemon.com/us/) for the location, but all it would tell me was that there IS a prerelease in Granada Hills, CA. If there is anyone reading this post who knows or has access to the location, PLEASE TELL ME!:confused::confused:

Additional details from the site linked on pokemon.com and in my sig

Granada Hills 9:30am Registration on Saturday, January 30

and
Granada Hills 1:30pm Registration on Saturday, January 30

You’re not seeing double, because we’ll have two seatings of the Main Event. Got something to do in the AM? Come in the PM. Players are limited to one Main Event, but don’t forget our side event!
Each main event has a $25 entrance fee, and will be three rounds of play, with each finisher taking home the 6 packs used to make your deck and two bonus packs as participation prizes. While supplies last players will also get a promo card and a set of HeartGold SoulSilver-themed sleeves.
Team Battle Side Event with 6 Packs

After the first round of each main event starts, we will offer Team Battle Sealed Side Events. These events will allow a team of two players to battle another team using Team Battle Rules. Each player receives 6 packs of HeartGold SoulSilver cards, plus promotional items while supplies last, for the $20 entry. The player opens all 6 packs and lists the quantities of each card on a set list. Then, this player joins a teammate to make two 40 card decks from their combined cards. After play, players use their filled out set lists to return each teammate’s original cards. The teams play single elimination tournament, with the first and second place teams receiving packs of diverse Diamond/Pearl and/or Platinum sets, according to the number of entrants in the tourney. Team Battle is a fun way for parents & children, siblings or friends to work together to try their combined forces against an opponent. Anyone who wants to play but doesn’t have a teammate, can tell the organizer and we’ll get you hooked up with another player to form your team. Start thinking of those team names now!
Santa Barbara 10:30am Saturday, February 6th

Theme Deck Challenge

After the main event, we will offer $25 Theme Deck challenge. For theme deck challenge you make a 40 card deck from a HeartGold SoulSilver theme deck and two HGSS boosters. After playing, you get 2 more HGSS boosters and (while supplies last), a set of sleeves and promo card.

ok, but do you know the name of the store where the granada hills prerelease is?

No store. We can't get 80 people seated in a store anywhere around here. It's a small private school, OSFL School. Check the map, it shows where to park and the name of the place and address and where to eat nearby. Thanks for your interest!

It is a great location and will be a great time. If that is close, then you can't go wrong with Kim and his crew there. :thumb:

We give half an hour to make the deck, and the three rounds are 20 minutes each, so add in 45 min for registration and 5 min between rounds and I think we're right at 2.5 hours. More or less. Each event actually starts when registration is complete and ends after the 3 rounds are complete, so 2.5 hours is an estimate, not a guarantee.

Cheers!

Well, I'll be coming on down to Granada this weekend for sure, but as for what time I am not so sure. I do like to sleep in!* I usually plan on going to 9ish AM events and then the morning of them I just turn off my alarm and catch bulbaZ's.

Save me some good packs regardless!

*I say as I stay up late with class at 10AM Monday morning.

As am I! So many fun new things to play with. I feel like I've been waiting forever for a new set.

Also, Allison pretty much decided 1:30 is the time because she is lazy. See you then!

Aww, I'm not lazy, it's just that class at 7:00 and 8:00 AM everyday on the other side of campus is hard on me...! I like having the weekends to sleep in.

In any case, I'm really looking forward to this set's Prerelease, too. It's kind of what's getting me through the week right now -- so excited!

It's cool. That's one of the reasons we have morning and afternoon seatings (and to make sure we can fit everyone). Sleep in!

Can't believe I missed your post! Thanks for the kind words.

And, when in Lancaster and thereabouts, attend David's events. I'm there if I'm not running one myself. Solid organizing and juding and nice people, who will thoroughly thrash your deck.

Having finally seen the posters I love them, sad to say I wont be making the granada hills event
someone has to keep david company in lancaster. Love you events kim sorry I'm missing this one.

Hey, no worries, I'm a Lancaster supporter. David also helped me out with some boxes for tomorrow at Santa Barbara, too! We have plenty of product for the event.

As a note: two seatings at SB - 10:30 & 2:30 / Theme Deck Challenge Side Event!
