I just found a really fun way is to catch roamers is to get them down to 1 HP and let them get away, Maybe paralyze. The next time you see them, use a quick ball. REALLY effective. Also, You can use a fast ball, if the pokemon is quick like most roaming pokemon are.

I would suggest a nest ball. It works more better on weaken Pokemon, which makes it a much more better chance on catching it while at 1 HP.

the catch rate for nest ball ((40 - Pokémon's level) / 10)×, minimum 1×.
Nest ball is dependent of the difference in level from your Pokemon and the wild Pokemon.

A easy way to do it is were you first see the legendaries is to go out of the tower and walk out the way you came in with the pokemon you chose like Wobbuffet or someone else you want to use .
