Its not that hard to beat on expert really. The vast majority of people who have beaten it did something like tie a rubber band around the green note. That makes it much easier and actually possible.

And then these games will just make the Guitars like ROB for the NES

I get the idea that you're trying to say ROBs are common and nobody wants them.... but ROBs are rather expensive and rare collectibles these days.... I'm a NES collector on the look out for them at flea markets! So far I've only seen one and the guy was asking something over $40 so I had to say no because I want a bargain!:smile: But yeah, these guitars will litter garage sales/flea markets in the future.

Ok I have played it and i have to say I am really not happy with the game.
My friend got his and the keys have already played out on two of them.
(He took the first one back and got another and it still went out)
I hope a compeny comes up with a spare one that will be sold sep from the game.
It might be worth getting then.

You're wrong about it being easy. But the rubber band does help! I know, I've tried...

Oh, and I found out what Jam Mode did... It didn't seem all that great to me. I mean why mess up such great songs? If the songs good, you're only making it worse. If the song is bad, you can't help it...:lol:

To tell you the truth, this game looks pointless. The only thing I really like about it is the soundtrack. It looks insanely difficult to play a song on expert, putting all of your focus on trying to push the correct buttons, while strumming the guitar strings that go to the beat. To me it looks like no one will get through a song on expert unless they are a veteran at multi-tasking.

umm, alot of people have. I for one, can beat songs on expert, and i bet that at least a quarter of gymmers (who play)can. It's actually really fun.
ps saved up usd 75 so far for the ps2 version

It's not really that hard actually. Now doing it PERFECT, now that's a different story.

Trust me, if I can do it, it's not that hard! Even though I am very good at multi-tasking....

It just takes practice though. You think Guitar Hero is hard? Then how hard do you think it is to play the real Guitar? Because I can assure you, Guitar Hero is way easier and on top of that, having to do it PERFECT EVERY TIME in EVERY concert you preform in. Guitar Hero is a walk in the park compared to the REAL music of the world.


Okay, back to the wishlist. I wish it had an extra button! Real Guitars have 6 strings, why don't we have 6 buttons? Wouldn't that make Hammer Ons and Pull Offs a little less crammed up? Black Button FTW!!!

Well, personally I can't wait. Largest Setlist on a CD ever, new online play features, most realistic drums, RECORD YOUR OWN MUSIC and SHARE IT WITH THE WORLD, etc, etc... I don't know about you guys, but I have NEVER wanted the cold months to come in season this fast.

The buttons are not meant to represent strings. They're meant to represent frets. And, since it's impossible to put all of the frets onto a single controller (lord, that would look insane), they just decided that 5 was a good number.

Well now, I don't know if anyone knows this, but anyways.... We have a newly Redesigned Guitar, the Drums are Pressure Sensitive which means you have to watch how hard you hit them notes!! Oh, and they have BASINS!! Take that Rock Band, haha ha a haha ha!!!!!!! *cough* *cough*

ALL OF THE SONGS ARE MASTER TRACKS!!!! YES I SAID ALL!! That's got to be my favorite part, it really p-ed me off when I found out half of my favorite songs were covers...


I was thinking about getting Guitar Hero Aerosmith, but I heard it wasn't that great. Anyone here know anything about this? I saw a Display in Walmart but there was this guy playing and he wouldn't get off, hogger. He wasn't even good either...

The company I work for is actually running a GH tournament to raise money for the children's miracle network. The department I work for is running a WII tournament with Wii sports and Wii play (Golf, Shooting Range, and Bowling) and so far Im doing well. The GH tournament looks like it will be really big, but right now I don't know if I will have enough time to get good at it. I do enjoy the music though, so maybe this time I will sit this one out and let the pro's duke it out.

Because Rock Band 2's tracklist got revealed a few days ago, and it looks virtually unbeatable. Heaps of 60s/70s heyday stuff with minimal emo-kid/screamo-kid interference. Plus, Steely Dan. Odds are that very few of you have heard of Steely Dan. But that is because many of you cannot appreciate anything except Linkin Park's coma-inducing "Shadow of the Day" after the horrendous amount of airplay it has received. Don't worry. Rock Band 2 will save you.

Hendrix is a character! How cool is that!
I would be so stoked if a band member of Metallica was a character in the game.
Cliff Burton for Bass would be fitting, as he is renowned as the best bassist to have lived. Kinda like the Hendrix of Bass.
Its going to be hard for anyone who has heard "(Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth", "Orion", or "Damage INC." (to name a few) to argue that.

Yeah I know, plus some of the songs, with all the added features, and drums, etc. I think GH really got it together this time!

I just don't see where all of these people who think Rock Band is so good get off though. I mean really, Guitar Hero 3 was THE BEST selling Video Game in 2007. That means it not only out-kicked Rock Band, but also PWNED Halo 3 and many other highly anticipated games. So now, all of the Rock Band fans think it even has a chance when you add in Drums, a Mic, Recording your own songs, etc? I just don't see it happening. sure Rock Band has Potential to out-do GH, but they aren't so there is no sense in denying it. ANYONE who was faithful to Guitar Hero before Rock Band 2, will REMAIN faithful. No doubt in my mind.


Oh, and a side note. Those are the OFFICIAL guitar hero forums. So if you ever need to know anything about the game, want to find a battle, look at your stats, etc. THAT is the place to go. But I'm sure anyone who wanted to know all of that already knows anyways...



My friend swears that the WII won't be getting DLC because the songs will take up too much room in memory, and that after not so long you'll have to resort to SD cards... That may be true, but I just can't get it through his head that DLC for the WII has been CONFIRMED!! Don't let any rumors get to you!!
