Hello my son has a mega tyranitar ex card that says it evolves from meowth. It all looks genuine but i was wondering if any of you have heard of it before. Thanks

It is more than likely a fake card. I recommend reading the Anatomy of a Fake Pokemon Card to see if your card has any other tell tales signs of being a fake.

I have the same issue, my sister got it in a brand new official Pokémon pack.

The pack could have been resealed - someone takes the real cards out, puts in fake ones, and reseals it.
