Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Heroes Season 2! (Spoilers Inside)

That was just a depressing episode.
All the bad guys are winning and all the good guys are losing. =(
And now Peter fights Hiro for the cliffhanger. What a surprise.
My guesses for the two heroes that die next episode are Kensei and Maya.

This really doesn't seem like the season should be ending yet, ugh. Stupid writer's strike.

Well the only thing that made me think that it was going to be 2 hours is that Journeyman isn't on next week, so I figured they would use the 9-11 time slot for Heroes. ;(

This show is getting pretty annoying. I mean no action and too much story. So much story in fact that they will have to squish everything all in one again. Depressing.

On another note, I hope sylar becomes uber again. He is such a good character to just be let on the wayside.

Lol at the ending of the episode,

Things that are more action than story are usually video games, not TV shows. TV shows tend to lean more towards the story side, the exception being anime.

Sooo the season finale just went down. I gotta say, the complete lack of ANYTHING resembling a resolution for Noah's "deal" with the company made the episode a little weird for me. Plus there was the whole thing with Mama Petrelli on the phone at the end, and Elle MIRACULOUSLY discovering Sylar's location was a little too good to be true. And we don't know what happened to Niki (I spoiled myself earlier and read that two heroes would die - but if Niki really died, then three did: Maya, Niki and Nathan). Then we saw Sylar get his powers back, of course - boring and completely obvious. And the lamest part of all was the preview for next year:

"In 2008... Heroes returns."

/end preview

After seeing how season two ended, I'm not sure I want to stick around for season 3. Poor Nathan, I really hated to watch him die like that, and Angela was ok with it. That's what wierded me out the most. "You've opened Pandora's Box." Must mean there's something out there worse than Syler.

Also, why chouldn't Hiro kill Adam? He'll somehow make it out of that coffin, that right there is a pretty safe bet.

Peter Patrelli has to be the dumbest hero ever.

I could either work really, really, really hard to pull this vault door off with my telekinetic powers, or I could just walk right through it... which should I do? Well, since I don't trust Adam entirely, I think I'll take the route that will give him access to the virus, rather than walking through the wall and destroying it myself...

OH NOES! ADAM IS DA BAD GUY!!! I MUST STOP HIM!!! I think I'll run to the vault door in real time, and pray that I can stop him, rather than just stopping time and going to check things out...

I was curious as to whether Peter used his telekinesis to stop the vial from dropping or if he was able to localize a time stop. If the later, that's got some potential.

I'm also a little concerned that the whole "Clair's blood can regenerate anything" part of the story is going to make it so that no one ever dies.

Well, the thing about that that I was wondering is, how long does immortal blood last in a person, anyway?

I mean, it's immortal. It never breaks down. Therefore, there's no reason for the body to excrete it.
One would think that a person who has been injected with an immortal's blood would be able to regenerate for a pretty long time. I imagine cell by cell it would eventually be excreted, over a long time. but the body doesn't lose good blood cells that quickly, does it?

So, maybe Peter's brother will also survive his gunshots. Maybe it will just take a bit of time for the remaining immortal blood to heal him.
Just a thought.

It's great that Elle and Peter did the right thing, but it sucks that Noah was forced back into working for the company and that Sylar escaped and got his powers back.
It's very cool how Hiro "disposed" of kensei, but that doesn't seem like a very foolproof method. He can't die, he could just take however long he needs to dig his way out.
Oh, and CyberManectric, I think Hiro was completely unaware that a bullet to the head could kill adam - nobody ever told him that, so he was still under the assumption that adam couldn't be killed in any way.
Oh, and Niki and Nathan dying - what the heck? I totally didn't see either of those coming. Totally random.

I'm so mad that we have to wait for Volume 3. It's gonna be so crazy with the cliffhangers they left us.
Random inconsequential note, though, I had read that Volume 3 was going to be called Exodus, but they said it's gonna be called Villains. Hmm.

lol @ liesik's post. Peter is quite stupid.

Why couldn't Peter just read Adam's mind and see he was lying?

Sylar should be unstoppable now that he has his powers back plus the ones he took when he didn't have his powers.

I don't think HRG killed Nathan in the end. I think it was someone from the future.

The idea that Nathan could still regenerate thanks to Kensei's blood would be awesome to see come true.

Why does no one ever guess the obvious?
It was Bob. We know he had access to the security cameras, and it showed that somebody was watching the security cameras when Peter/Nathan/Matt were talking. It makes the most sense for it to be Bob.

Seeing how volume 3 is titled "Villains" I anticipated that it's someone new that killed Nathan, not Bob. After all, there's still a bunch about the company that we still don't know.

Spencer: Maya didn't die, she came back to life with Claire's blood.
I thought Niki's death was predictable.

Well, if they had called it Exodus, a bunch of nutjobs would have been like, "OMG the first season was GENESIS and now we have EXODUS! THAT'S A VIOLATION OF MY FREEDOM OF RELIGION!!!!1"

Mikey - Yeah, but she still died. They just brought her back.

Unless Bob can make himself look skinnier and grow hair, I don't see how he did it. I've been on other Heroes boards (NBC for instance) that have pictures of the scene and of the guy walking away. He's built a lot like Sylar/Peter and is wearing a hat. It doesn't make sense for it to be Sylar since Sylar was at another location at the time, same for Peter too.

We don't know where Bob was, but from the pictures it doesn't look like Bob.

My thought was that it was someone from the future since it could easily be Sylar/Peter/someone from the future and we'd never even know who it was -- exactly what the writers want.

We've seen future Hiro come to the past once. We've seen current Hiro teleport himself and someone else through time (same for Peter). So it's not too hard to believe that the new future Hiro could take a few heroes back with him to the past to change it for the better (or worse).

That might explain where more villains come from and how Peter meets his irish girl again.
