Orlando Fall Battle Roads Saturday September 27th 2008
On behalf of the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society (Southern Chapter) I would like to invite all Pokemon players to participate in our first ever POP Battle Roads Tournament.
What do Historical Miniatures and Pokemon have in common and why is this event at our game convention?
Though our primary focus is the study of history through miniatures wargaming (playing games with toy soldiers) we are not gaming snobs! Our membership has interests in board games, fantasy role play and of course card games. So as part of our ‘outreach’ program we thought this a good opportunity to expose Pokemon players and their families to other great game systems.
So we have opened our doors to you the Pokemon community!
The event will be held at Hurricon 2008 at the Holiday Inn Resort on I-Drive in Orlando. (Close to Universal Studios). The address can be found at:

All participants and their family members are entitled to a FREE GUEST PASS to our convention. This badge allows you to wander around and observe all the different events. You are also welcome to shop with our attending dealers and take advantage of some great prices on board games, dice, cards and miniatures. We do however ask that if you want to play in one of our events other than the Battle Roads that you upgrade to a full admission badge.
