Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

If all the remaining t-legal EX sets were banned

Garchomp is not as good no matter what format it is. Only good one is the LV.X thats just because it can do 30 to each of their benched pokes from a power and it has rebirth. Yours still gonna have to have 2 Stage 2 pokes for Garchomp to work.

Garchomp is not only good, garchomp is better, belief me, i've lost to it several times
110 DMG every turn from turn 3 on + the possibility of using PP & Sc is brutal

Magmortar would still beat it,Mag/Togekiss varients would, Salamence SW would then be more playable of the Togekiss/Typholosion.Gatr could beat it still.T2 Kricturne could take it(why I said this deck I dont know why lol)

Garchomp isnt that good honestly. Ho-oH is more playable.

I'd love to see all the ex cards go away to be honest. Remove that much of a game shakes up the community and forces people to think creatively.

I just realized if they got rid of the remaining sets now,

I wouldnt be able to play Luxray DP1 and Crawdunt Ex,which is one of my favorite decks.

What is it?

I think he may be talking about Bubble Coat. It's an upcoming Pokemon Tool that ignores weakness for the Pokemon it's attached to. I don't think it's that good, considering it gets discarded after the Pokemon it's attached to is attacked. It's worse than Protective Orb from Unseen Forces, which didn't see much play in a X2 weakness environment.

But wasn't the problem Windstorm? Folks were running 3-4 of them on average as I recal in most powered decks to counter Delta. The odds of your Orb getting Windstormed were high given that, the draw last format, and that we had no hand disruption.

By the time Bubble Coat comes out Windstorm will likely be rotated....

Garchomp beats Magmortar now. If the old sets were removed it wouldn't even be close. With a water, Garchomp OHKO's Magmortar. I've seem the matchup many times and Garchomp usually always wins.

If thats the case, why dotn you see mostly any garchomp decks and wouldnt it be top tier??:confused:

I've only lost to Garchomp with magmortar because of time. And you can remove your weakness with holon energy FF so he does only 70 damage.

Dude, the whole point of the thread is that energies and trainers like DRE and FF are going to be gone after worlds this year.

Since so many ppl use Pachi nowadays, Pokemon tools aren't that good of an idea...
