does anyone have anything planned?
we have been trying to get an answer from our distributors OP provider all week, the hearsay is 30 to 40 CCs in the UK but don't believe it! We can't see that there are enough of us TOs and Judges to deliver anywhere near that.
But don't forget :

And City Challenge news as we get it
I've registered interest to have one hosted in the West London area (Heathrow), I definitely would like to host a Pre-Release in preference as they seem easier to run. I'd need a hand with the CC from someone au fait with the software etc. but I can find a place etc. for it.
I'd be more than happy to come help run the TMS software (um, you'd have to pay airfare, tho' - so , okay, that's not gonna happen )
of course im going to se6
What we need is a premiere series that gives the winners a trip _to_ London to play PKMN.
tries to find London on a map of the USA...
found Paris, Melbourne, found london bridge.
'Snore now that really would be a International OP, come on over guys and gals the SE Challenges are lovely
What to think about an Dutch Tourny, open for all players and a trip to Holland for the winner.
This should be unofficial but who cares.
There is a slight change this could be possible in the future and that's all I'm saying.
Remember this is unofficial and called Poketrophy or something, but as long as you not refer to Nintendo, game freaks of Pokemon USA I think you can organize whatever you want to play against each other.
OK NoPoke & Pro & Rainbowgym, where is my cheap airfare web page? Hmm...
If I can have a tourney here @ $10 admission and raise US$452.58 + applicable taxes, to send a kid to London (jump seat on a FedEx jet), will you pick 'em up at Heathrow, put 'em up for 72 hours, take 'em to the 8 CCs you'll run on that weekend in UK and escort 'em to Holland for the Poketourney? That's a R/T ticket so, if you'd please be so kind and put 'em back on the plane when done. If so, I think we're ready for NoProBowSnore International Organized Play!
But seriously, I haven't been overseas since I did London, Paris, Zurich, Salzburg, Madrid when I was 9mos. old. I guarantee that if I ever get there and you guys haven't died from running or trying to run tourneys I'll look you up - I'll bring my cards, I guarantee. I'd even plan it for an SE Challenge Weekend. Wow! Talk about died & gone to heaven, that would be the best... I'm so jealous of IPGeek21 (who has played in UK & Germany).
Best regards from the American Southwest!
I think its a neat idea. I'd thought of something like this a long time ago (when 15+ trips were axed in Europe--just couldn't figure out how I could have time to organize to offer a trip to a European 15+ champ). VERY HARD to execute (and I can't even get my Pentathlon off the ground) but a great idea. It would generate interesting publicity...
'snore we gotta think how we can get 8 CCs in a weekend but yeah we'll pick someone up from Heathrow
snore - I'm serious about it, working on this for a long time, because I don't see OP growing overhere (at least not in the nearfuture)
The plans are on paper, changed a few times, but still I need to invest more money than I'm willing at this moment.
It's all put in a non-profit foundation, but I'm still not sure about Intellectual Property.
I don't want to break in someones IP, but also don't want to reveal my plans.
Well, I appreciate 'pro laughing at my joke, but I saw you were serious...so that's why you got a separate reply. Best wishes. As I say, I thought of it in the old days, too. I know you face a complex task in realizing your ambition.
