October 10, 2008 (3:43 AM): Challenges will be going up LATER TODAY! In case you forgot this contest existed...Well, WAKE UP!

Here's a bit of information on the format for round one, top 64:

~~~RETRO ROUND (Ruby Sapphire to Legend Maker ingredients)~~~
Since there are still way too many people, I intend to make challenges united by divisions, rather than pods. In case you weren't sure, here's who make up the divisions from the bracket:
Division 1 - made up by Acutin's 8-person group in the bracket.
Division 2 - Espeonchris' 8-person group.
Division 3 - Led by Ky00ber the III
Division 4 - Vanderbilt Grad's 8-person group
Division 5 - Led by Scizor
Division 6 - Led by Bigchuck01
Division 7 - Led by Rainbowgym
Division 8 - Led by PokemansforGeeks
October 16, 2008 (8:30 AM): Remember...Today is your LAST day to send in an entry, guys!
October 17, 2008 (8:30 AM): The deadline has been extended a full 24 hour period. I must receive the entry by 12:00 AM tonight. For anyone who turns in today, you will receive a three point penalty.
Wednesday, October 22, 2008 (8:20 PM): First off, sorry I've been slow about grading these entries.
Secondly, I will still be announcing challenges for the top 32, even if pods have not been graded. The reason is that i do not want to hold up the tournament's time frame. Plus, I figure that there is no particular advantage or disadvantage, since this is a 1 vs 1 contest, and a contest with a very friendly due date structure (entries are due next Friday).
October 24, 2008 (1:08 AM): At long last, grading is DONE!
As previously stated, I will be posting top 32 challenges later today...Probably in the evening. So, here's everything on bill for today:
-A new post, detailing temporary contest changes to the top 32 and beyond.
-A new post, listing the challenges for the top 32.
-Typical back and forth discussion on the excitement of the contest, as it comes ever-nearer to a conclusion!
November 13, 2008 (4:30 AM): Top 32 grading is done!
Top sixteen, be prepared to receive your challenges tomorrow! The format will yet again be modified-constructed, only it will now include Stormfront.
Also, the challenge will be...Extremely bizarre. Expect the unexpected, or else you'll surely fail.
December 5, 2008 (11:51 AM): At least, the top eight have finally been decided!
Your challenges will be posted sometime Monday afternoon (December 8th), and will be due by Saturday evening at 11:59 PM (December 13th). Good luck!
