Outstanding job! All your hard work and inventiveness payed off against some very tough competition. You will surely remember this forever and the win is well deserved. I am proud to see a unique and different deck and player do so well.
 
man I did so well with the list I sent you at New Mexico other than facing APE in top 4 and I still almsot took him too but did make some last minute changes that really saved my butt but Im still curious how much our lists differ I cant come to your regional since I would get slaughtered there (it would be nice to hang with zach again maybe at nats) I have my own regional to win so PLZ toss me a suggestion or 2

Okay to everyone who is pm'ing me about their lists I might just make a banette article, but I am working a lot right now so I would have to find the time. I already have a deck ready for regionals that should be able to easily take the format, I hope.

But you have to realize that he played G/G EVERY game except 1, and he won that game on TIME he was in a situation that he would have lost the next turn.

So yeahh, Bannette beats G/G - But it Phails TERRIBLY vs Magmortar(AKA BDIF)

Yeah, nice job countering the metagame. If everyone is playing GG, then the play was obvious. Steve is right here though. And that game was against Typhlosion. Sounds like if that was Blaziken he'd have been able to retreat and win. We won't get into how much Blaze GE destroys Banette, though.

GJ dominating all the GG, deck makes me want to vomit.

Uh, I tend to disagree with parts of this comment. I played in both R1 and T8 a Blaziken deck and was about to win 3 out of the 4 games.

Jokerboi - WTG again man, congrats on winning your states with Banette. :thumb: Sorry for taking your topic a tiny bit off topic though.

In the finals you say you choose to go first?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that you must start if you win the flip/roll now?
