Figures Steve would have it on the same day as the league I just started up at C & R  Now I don't know if I can make it :nonono:

Well I know Steve has had the date set since early February before the Deoxys Prereleases began. Also Sunday has been the day he usually holds his Pokemon events in Overland Park, at least for the year or so that I have been going to them.

I know he is busy just between Pokemon, Magic, and being in the military. He will be up in Kansas City, KS hosting a Magic tournament on Saturday, March 5th. He also just found out about a week ago that his wife is expecting again.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

He's having another? How many does that make under 10?

I will try to find someone here to take care of the league for a week. Hopefully I can find someone. If not, I guess I will have to wait until next year :frown: Anyways, hope to see you in March

MP Birch is trying to get rid of one, not have more. Can old white headed guys still have another??? Well not in my Texas house, anyways. (LOL) Two grandsons are plenty for me!!!

Later...but not in as having another...practice maybe...but no having another, please.

  Congradulations to ya'll.

What about Ives??? Any news...any little Ives on the way???

I heard you are judging, Nat. I was hoping we could play. We have to get a couple rounds in before the tourny sometime. Sound cool?

I think we will have to wait and see. I just read an e-mail from Steve. He anticipates around 80 players being there. That means a packed store, lots of decks to check, setup to be done, and people to keep an eye on. So time will definitely be a factor, as well as space.

It will be good to see another new face in the game, signs that its definitely growing in Kansas with the league you have started and the anticipated attendance. I know I've made a number of new friends since my wife and I started frequently playing a year ago.

See you on the 6th!

What are you doing the 5th? I will be coming up around 1. Got any time that evening?

Things are looking good attendance wise. I had 26 people sign up for the league!
