Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

KidsWB announces Fall schedule

By the way, any opinions about "The Batman?" I think it could do well. The look of Batman is a little shocking, but i think that can be overcome. I will put my money here: this is a show to watch for...literally.

Anyways, any insight?

Batman has always sold, for some odd reason. Personally, I think that he's the 2nd koolest super hero ever created (behind Your Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman)

Hmm...that's a tough one, I'll admit, but i think Batman takes it there. He is just a human. Like any other billionaire human, he can only do so much. He has no superpowers, he only has his wits. That is the coolest thing about him, i guess. It's so cool when you have a psychological trial to confront; Batman the Dectecive! That's waaaaay better than just having your amazing powers do your feats for you. The Riddler is one of my favorite villains, as you might guess. Brain power with a pinch of brawn when needed makes for the best possible DC comics could make! Marvel is all about...marvelous heroes. So, it isn't as impressive as someone who does all his own stunts, so to speak.

That is why i would support Batman over Spiderman. But hey, Spiderman is incredibly cool too, but that one brain factor beats him out.

Anyone agree with me?

Actually I think that a billionaire with no superpowers at all shouldn't be classified as a "superhero." I don't have anything against Batman, I just don't really like him that much.

Well, note that I was very careful (as i always am when talking about Batman) to not use the word Superhero. I value the fact that he's not super, but he is a hero. That's another reason i didnt like that he was with the super friends. So, yeah. Plus the entire Batman world is cool. The best villains, plots, and stunts come from that Batman World. Batman is what every superhero should dream to be.

I chose Spidey mostly b/c he's the most human out of all the heroes that I've ever seen. He has problems just like the rest of us. His gf dumps him more times than a trashbag, his job is worthless, and, yet, even with all of those powers, he refuses to steal anything. That's what I call a superhero. No disrespect to Bats, I just don't like the fact that he relies completely and 100% on technology and his monetary resources to back up his ability to beat these villians.

well let's not be brash; Batman is the one with the wits! Wits! He can out think opponents. I do enjoy that Spiderman is humerous by nature, though. But i like how Batman is stoic, too. He doesn't rely 100% on his money and technology; that's a bit of a stretch. But think of those as his superpowers. To compensate for his lack of superpowers, grant him unlimited funds and sophisticated tools. Plus he knows martial arts. Spiderman gets a bunch of publicity too, you know. I think it is definately Batman's turn by now.

I, think that the DC heroes have never really been as cool as the Marvel heroes, because DC just has one guy with so invincible superpowers [GL, Superman, Wonder Woman etc.] but Marvel focuses on teams [The Avengers, X-men, Fabtastic Four] which i think is cool because it's like a big multiplayer game in which everyone represents one power that one DC guy is made of.

We all have different opinions, so lets just leave it at that. This would be my fav schedule:

[8:00-8:30]-Jackie Chan Adventures
[8:30-9:00]-Megaman NT Warrior
[9:00-9:30]-Astro Boy
[9:30-10:00]-Xaolin Showdown
[10:00-10:30]-Pokemon
[10:30-11:00]-Yu-Gi-Oh
[11:00-11:30]-Mucha Lucha
[11:30-12:00]-Static Shock

Why no TT? Because that is on CN now. Why no scooby doo? Because the old ones were MUCH better...especially the one with batman and robin. The new ones are overated. I like this schedule because it starts out with a good show, then a new show that might or might not be good. Then add in some astro boy which is a great anime, then alittle xaolin showdown which is funny and cool, followed by the clingers, pokemon and yu-gi-oh. Finish the mourning up with some funny mucha lucha and some cool static shock. I like all these shows, some more than others, and the ones I don't like as much are grouped between two shoes I do like, so I will watch it anyways.

that's a good idea: ideal line-ups.

For now, I'll say, the best shows should be put on a little later.

Here's what I'm thinking in terms of quality:

Start with lesser quality shows early so that you dont have to wake up early--barely awake to see the best shows (I'm Pacific time).
Go on to one of the better shows
Get to one of the sure fire hit shows
Finish softly with another show that may or may not be better than the early morning ones--Maybe a show that is not terrible, but not a great show either.

Ex (in my opinion of quality) :
Scooby-Poo type show
Static Shock type show
Pokémon show
Mucha Lucha type show

And that's how i would break it down. As you can see there's four basic stages of shows. I would put a new show that just got launched somewhere between here and here to make sure it gets some exposure.

Look at the line-up as a meal at a pricey resturaunt. First you have your drink, then your apetizer, then your main course, and finally your dessert to wrap it all up.

Later on i'll see if i can peice together my own line-up.

9:00: Mucha Lucha (this sux)
9:30: Jackie Chan (old episodes, new ones are not that great)
10:00: Xiolian Showdown (not all THAT bad...)
10:30: Astro Boy (VERY NICE, just underappreciated...)
11:00 Pokemon (boring, but people like it)
11:30 YGO (it has its ups and downs)
12:00 Megaman NT Warrior (right here it gets some exposure)
12:30 Static Shock (good, but not great)

what's so bad with newer Jackie Chan? The only newer saga that was not so great was some of the Shen Du's siblings saga.

And as for Mega Man, i would treat it as a show that has already had some exposure, but then again, it has faded from memory recently, so i guess executives would want to consider that...
