League challenge reporting question

The league owner at my league reported the results of our league challenge to pokemon, however there is an error due to the tournament being under 8 people( it was 7.) Is there some minimum requirement of 8 at league challenges or something that I am not aware about? We are trying to get in touch with the help team but no one has responded. What can we do to get this fixed?

The minimum size for any sanctioned tournament is 8 players. Because the tournament didn't meet this threshold, it is too small to count as a Premier Event.

The fix is to recruit more players for the next League Challenge.

So you are telling me that this league challenge we had now doesn't count? This isn't the time or place to discuss the problems with that ruling due to the low interest in pokemon tcg in our area in Louisiana, so is the "fix" to try to make sure that we have 8 people next time?

That is exactly what he told you. A tournament with 7 players is NON-Sanctionable, and any awards become null and void, so no CPs or PPs earned. Try to recruit more players so this does not happen next time. Good luck!

Yes, your first league challenge won't award Championship points. Your TO should still be shipped the winner promo cards for the event - and the winners in each age group get them as prizes. (Any not awarded Promos should be destroyed.)

Okay so now we are not getting an invite for the next league challenge... Is this because they haven't been given out yet? Surely Pokémon isn't going to take our right to hold league challenges away right? I need help contacting someone from pokemon about this. We are not getting responses after asking for information.
