League promotion, tips and suggestions

I've read Ultimatedra's League guide and I have a question to other league owners.

How do you promote your league?

Obviously, posters in the store; This is the first thing that will tell potential players that there is something going on here.
Secondly, I've created small page keepers with the information on when the league is, what it can do to the players

We've anounced our tournament. What can we do more?

Any of you uses the business card as described in Ultimatedra's guide? Any results from it?

Any other idea? I've created a Facebook group, mainly for the players, but few are actually members of the group.

Another thing that we've done successfully is to put small "articles" online in our local newspaper's blog. A photo of a tournament winner, for example, and a few details about when and where the league meets. Also, ask at your local libraries and schools to see if they will let you hang a poster as well. Other general bulletin board areas work also, depending on the age of your players. If you have a dedicated group and some extra materials (league promos, sets of common/uncommon cards, etc.) you can offer league members a bonus for bringing in a new friend.

Good suggestions! We don't have YET an official league, but bonus Common/Uncommon for bringing a new friend sounds great, librairies as well.

We have a tournament in 2 weeks, so pictures and an article is a good idea!
